Once upon a time, Gotham struggled with pacing issues and sub-par storytelling.

Nowadays, however, the Fox drama is firing on all cylinders and has become one of the best DC TV shows around.

The first look at Gotham Season 4 was revealed during the show's Comic-Con panel, and it looks like the drama is going to get crazier than we ever thought.

The bulk of the trailer included scenes from Gotham Season 3, but we were left with a lot to ponder from the few scenes we got of the new season.

What we now know is that Selina is not ready to sit around and let people walk all over her. In fact, she's ready to open a can of whoop ass on anyone who crosses her.

On top of that, we got to see new villain, Scarecrow, and boy, he is scarier than we could ever have imagined.

He is not someone to be messed with and will be making the residents of Gotham run away in fear.

The biggest reveal from the panel for the show was the reveal that Teen Wolf alum Crystal Reed has quietly joined the cast as Sofia Falcone.

Yes, she's the daughter of Don Falcone, and she will be using her expertise of running the family business for ten years to help Gordon take down Penguin.

Reed was a series regular on Teen Wolf from 2011 to 2014 when her character was killed off in a shocking twist.

All told, have a look at the full teaser for Season 4 and hit the comments with your thoughts on it.

Professor Strange

Ed: Barbara, do you even remember how amazing you were?
Barbara: I'm still amazing. I just made a choice.
