Riverdale Season 4 Trailer: Is Jughead Dead?

The Riverdale teens are gearing up for their senior year, and it looks like things are deadlier than ever before.
The CW has unveiled the official trailer for Riverdale Season 4, and there are some wild moments.
Archie and Veronica are back together -- unless they're just having some casual sex.
The pair had a troubling time throughout Riverdale Season 3, but it appears as though they have put the past behind them and are moving on.
But they have something more pressing to worry about.

“In just nine months, life as we know it will be over,” V says during one scene, alluding to the fact that they are all about to graduate.
If you watch Riverdale online, you know that the third season concluded on a wild note with Archie, Veronica, and Betty burning their clothing alongside Jughead's had.
They vowed to finish up senior year, and go their separate ways.
This new trailer seemingly gives us some insight into that, with Jughead apparently buried alive and everyone rushing to find him.

The scenes are very reminiscent of the mystery of Elite Season 2, so hopefully, it's not a similar set-up.
Elsewhere, it looks like Betty Cooper is continuing her sleuthing ways. In one scene, she finds herself being knocked out.
It's unclear who the person is that carries out the deed, but they're holding a freaking rifle, so there's that.

One of the other big scenes involves Veronica performing burlesque at the speakeasy.
It seems like a standard season of Riverdale.
