Shameless Season 9 Trailer: Can the Gallaghers Make America Great Again?

at .

Shameless is back in just two months, and Showtime has dropped the official trailer Season 9.

What it teases is the Gallagher's continuing to try and bring some light humor to households across the U.S.

Frank is still coming up with plans that are out there to make people change their thought process on the state of the country.

Frank's New Job Plan - Shameless Season 8 Episode 7

He is seemingly against Donald Trump and aims to craft a politically charged career out of that.

With Frank, there's always an ulterior motive, so we're going to have to reserve judgment on his storyline until we get to watch the new season.

As for Ian, he is likely facing a stint behind bars as a result of the Church of Gay Jesus storyline that found him striving to make a change on the South Side.

That also meant he broke the law on several occasions, but Fiona and his friends are not going to accept that his fate is as clean cut as that.

Newfound Fame - Shameless

Fiona has to go up against the very people who stand with her brother because she's thinking of the bigger picture, while they are thinking of a short-term solution to a long-term problem.

Debbie is all about making statements, and the latest of which is that she's a female welder and deserves to be treated with the same respect that a man gets.

We still have no idea whether Emma Kenney will be a series regular or a recurring player for Season 9 as a result of her involvement with Roseanne spinoff, The Conners.
