The Toyman strikes again!
The CW has dropped a new trailer for the back half of Supergirl Season 3 which is currently slated to return Monday, April 16.
In the clip, we get to lay eyes on Laurie Metcalf as Winn's mother, and it's very clear she harbors a whole lot of feelings for her ex-husband.
“He told me that if I went near you, ever, he would kill you,” the mother emotionally reveals to her son.
This all happens after the Toyman's funeral quite literally turns into an explosive affair when something explodes at the funeral.
But what is the now-deceased villain's angle? What does he hope to achieve by leaving toys strapped with bombs after his death?
That will be the focus of the Winn-heavy installment which kicks off the final chunk of Supergirl Season 3.
The addition of Metcalf as Mama Schott is sure to lead to some great scenes for fans of the series. Metcalf also appears as a regular on ABC's Roseanne which returns Tuesday.
Also, she will appear in an upcoming installment of The Big Bang Theory once again as Sheldon's mother.
