The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Promo: A New Sheriff in Town!

The Heretics have taken over Mystic Falls on The Vampire Diaries Season 7, and Lily Salvatore is the new sheriff in town! And by sheriff we mean that she's laying down the law, for her real children and the family she created to replace them. No humans allowed in Mystic Falls, on pain of death. Or torture. Or being turned into a vampire by one of Lily's minions. (Totally guessing on that last one.)

Poor Matt Donovan. The guy just can't catch a break. Or a promotion.

Except maybe he will. We'll be playing around with time when the series returns, but you can't really tell that from The Vampire Diaries Season 7 trailer.

What you CAN tell is that Stefan's hooking up with a hot blonde! That's right, Steroline fans! There's a very small glimpse of your favorite vampires sucking face (which is sort of better than that time they both sucked blood from a co-ed during The Vampire Diaries Season 6) in this trailer. Watch and repeat, my friends. Watch. And. Repeat. 

Damon is on a rampage to rid himself of his mother and take back his town, and man, do we ever love Damon when he's angry! For what it's worth, we also love to see him shirtless, and Elena did tell him to live and be happy while she's trapped in a coffin for the next 22,911 days.

Here's hoping he takes her up on that. Or at least takes a bath or two. We're not choosy.
