by at . Comments
McDreamy Wins! We're pleased to announce that Grey's Anatomy took home some hardware last night as a double winner at the People's Choice Awards.

Our favorite show who the award for favorite TV drama, and leading man Patrick Dempsey took home the honors for favorite male TV star.

"Thank you for a second chance!" Dempsey told the crowd. "I'm very fortunate to be part of a great ensemble."

To the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, he said:

"Thank you for creating Dr. McDreamy, it's changed my life."

Hopefully, this is just the beginning of an awards-packed month for the cast. The Golden Globe Awards are slated for January 15, and the Screen Actors Guild honors will be handed out January 28.

Congratulations to Patrick, and the entire cast of Grey's Anatomy. We'll look around for some photos from the awards to post later in the day.

I agree. Chandra's pant suit did not do her justice. She did have a great smile though. Both Isaiah and Chandra were up early announcing the NAACP Image awards at something like 6:00 AM on that same day. It was a long day for them and both managed to look pretty great. They were both nominated as well. I wonder if we will have something about that on the forum. I would love to see pictures. Both deserve the honor of being nominated and I hope both win.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
