by at . Comments

In anticipation of Season Two of Friday Night Lights, we're taking a look at each of its primary cast members, many of whom you probably don't know all that much about. Well, that's about to change.

Friday, we profiled the sexy Minka Kelly. Today, we'll take a look at a guy who got a lot of screen time with Kelly in the first season of Friday Night Lights - the brooding but handsome Taylor Kitsch.

Taylor Kitsch was born April 9, 1981 in Kelowna, British Columbia. A former hockey player, Kitsch has two older brothers and two younger sisters.

He moved to New York over five years ago after receiving a rare opportunity to pursue modeling with IMG and study acting there as well. After two years, he signed with production company, Untitled Entertainment.

"When Jason Street went down the first game of the season, everybody wrote us off. Everybody. And yet here we are at the championship game. Forty thousand people out there have also written us off. But there are a few out there who still believe in you."
