Grey's Anatomy: Not Accurate Enough For Italy?

at .

Television programs with medical and hospital themes often get so many of the details wrong, according to a leading Italian medical group, that the country's main broadcasters should refrain from airing them.

Offending programs include imported fare such as ER, House, Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs, along with a host of Italian-made productions, several of which were scheduled to premiere with state broadcaster RAI in September.

Denny, How Goes It?

The National Federation of Medical Colleges feels that the shows should not air and The Order of Medical Professionals of Rome echoes that view.

Annalisa Silvestro, NFMC president, says that the programs are "teaching viewers inaccurate views on medicine," and "spreading misinformation."

There has been no word on whether RAI and Mediaset are actually lame enough to actually adjust their programming in response to the protests.

If they are, maybe they should read these Grey's Anatomy Season 5 spoilers. Medicine totally plays an important role in the relationships, people!
