bite your tongue about rose being pregnant i hated her even having the audacity to pursue derek he and meredith are soul mates and NOTHING should ever come between them again if she was pregnant that would mean he would have had unprotected sex w/her he should have more sense than that i don't care about anything except mer/der being together i just love the way he looks at her i just love him on the show and i think a lot of his real personality comes thru if you read about him and hear him speak he is a real sweetheart and a nice human being not a hollywood crazy he and his wife are real family people i admire them both for that.. they are not in the rag papers they keep to themselves and try to live as "normal" of a life as one can live being in the spotlight i am in love with him myself so i live vicariously thru meredith!!! i think thats why i am so crazy about them together...i love anything he does!!!

Izzie belongs with George. They are the only reason I even watched the show. I find it interesting that the AI fans will watch whether they are together or not while most Gizzie fans won't watch without them. I guess this can explain the ratings slide since they ended.
If Shonda doesn't want to lose all Gizzie fans, she better work real hard at giving us some hope.

LOl yes I remember when Alex DISDAINFULLY gave Izzie a box of tissues like she had cooties and he was so above her when he started having an affair with a married woman. All because his little ego was bruised. It made me hate him and Lexziepuke even more.
Izzie should be with George, her true love, her best friend, her person, her soulmate! The one she had the best hot sex of her life with.
She gets together with her abuser Alex and I quit.

YAYY FOR MerDer (how will Mer improve her relationship with Dad and Richard), Alex & Izzie hopefully back together.
Alex was sooo jealous of Denny, so good to Iz when he helped her cry - remember when he gave her the box of tissues when she cried about breaking up George and Callie? Then Izzie held Alex to comfort him in return - a woman he can finally count on.
Lexie and George would be so cute and Mark is dying to get his hands on Erica's long blond ponytail - he is clearly hung up on her. He even told Callie, I wish I were all someone thought about.
Mark knows Callie likes Erica and since she is only good sex to him, he lets her go. Hmm a 3some. I would be pleased to see someone get under Christina's skin and see if he can get past the gruff exterior - see if she has learned from her past mistakes and open up to someone. I am looking forward to seeing Richard and Adele back together.

Let's not forget, according to Michael Ausiello a new female intern is supposed to be introduced at some point in season 5. Maybe this character will be Mark's lady if Shonda does not come to her senses and put he and Erica together. For some reason I want Erica torn between Callie and Mark. I think that would make for good television. A woman torn betweeen what a woman can give her emotionally and what a man can give her physically.... think about the drama!

ok - so - im with the ones that dont like gizzie, the couple were too annoying. im glad that they arent together and i dont want to see them being anymore other than good friends. izzie needs some hype in her relationship situation and mark needs taming..they could help one another with that.as for merder...ohh im so excited they have always been the BEST on the show and i love everything about them - rose just needs to disappear lol. and callie and erica..i dont even know what to say..they are good together but at the same time i can see that being a sticky situation. but i cant wait for the show to come on!!!! oh- and ill always watch even if gizzie is back together or merder dont work out..im not a trader- im a true fan

i think that izzie and mark might hook up in season 5 cuz shoda said that she has kept the idea of izzie love interest secret so i think that that could happen.

George and Izzie was amazing and they had the most beautiful love story on the show. The only true mature love story. I miss them every single day of my life. I want them back. I will always want them back.
I agree with Greysaddiction about AI only having a little sexual chemistry and this turning into ugly nastiness most of the time. This isn't love, it is dysfunction and anyone who thinks AI have true love scare me and have a twisted version of love.
I also agree that it will take some time for Gizzie to be ready to be together. We Gizzie fans can wait, but not if we have to endure the Alex and Izzie trainwreck horror again. That would be just too much for us Gizzie fans to endure. You would be asking too much Shonda and you would lose me as a viewer as you have lost many Gizzie viewers already

I'm sorry to be a minority but Gizzie was the worst possible story line & it soooo sucked! I ff'd every scene b/c it sucked so much.
McSteamy needs new meat as much as the interns need more screen time. I vote for another male returning character to be his foil - Derek should be very distracted with something *ahem!* someone else!
I'd can't wait to see Alex grow up a little more and for Yang to come out of her depression.

MerDer -- Shonda sounds like she is finally heading down EXACTLY the right path for us MerDer friends-- I am SO EXCITED to see MerDer in Season 5 -- YAY!!!
Callie & Erica-- I'm still on the fence. Convince me. More importantly, lets grow McSteamy's character in the face of this whole Callica thing.
George & Lexie -- PLEASE, PLEASE NO NO NO!!! I LOVE George he's great. I like Lexie. The two of them together? Ridiculous and childish. Lexie will not help George grow. She's got enough of her own growing to do.
Cristina-- YAY!! Yang is Back in the Groove!
Alex & Izzie -- NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !!!! Alex needs to work through this stuff on his own with his friend, Izzie. I like Alex. Ok, people who keep saying they will stop watching the show if so and so doesnt get together, are not TRUE FANS!!! I don't care if it doesnt work out. I particularly love MerDer, but I never left the show when they broke up anytime. So those of you that will quit when people break up and get together are not true fans.
And, I really agree, I hope Rose isnt pregnant. That would SUCK!

Alicia, you have hot the nail on the head. Callica like Lexzie is about sex. While Callixca and Gizzie are about two best friends falling in love and all the emotions that come with it. Since I am a romantic, that is why I root for Callica and Gizzie over Mallie and Lexzie. Gexie is also a couple I could love since they are following the same friends falling in love. I am a sucker for that. Purely sexual relationship turn me off.
