I think McSteamy and Izzie would be really fun to watch. I just remember that episode when he was all like, "Get me a latte, woman!" and Izzie just gave him this look until he actually looked uncomfortable. lol. I think that Izzie can set him straight and that he would make a better guy for her because they're so different.
The reason George and Izzie didn't work are the reasons McSteamy and Izzie will, I think. George and Izzie are just weird to me. They were too good of friends, it almost felt incestuous for some reason (anyone else get that feeling?)

Yes MerDer and Alex and Izzie are the same, both have abusive guys who treat those women like dirt and those women taking it like they have absolutely no self-esteem.
Alex is nothing like Meredith. Meredith is not cruel, or selfish. She apologized when she hurts people. Alex never does and is always cruel and abusive. He has soem rare nice moments with Izzie when he thinks he can get her into bed, but he often treats her like dirt.
Izzie deserves a guy who treats her with respect, loves her inside and out and a guy she feels the same way about, and that is George.
He has been her soulmate, the one person she connects with, is happiest with and can be herself with since day 1.
I haven't watched since they ended. I did get to see Alex cvalling Izzie a stupid bitch though, yeah what va great couple!
I won't watch as long as they are together. Alex isn,t even hot. He looks vile and dirty. Get a bath!

It's funny how we have so many different views on the show. As many of you guys think Izzie's great with George. I have to say George is my least favourite character, and he is so not right for a woman like Izzie. He'll be way better with Lexie. They're more of the same kind...
As for the great couple they're talking about, I really hope it's gonna be alex and izzie cauz they're so right for each other... I mean, in a way, they so look like merder. Izzie's the one who's gonna save alex in the end, she's the optimistic one, the only one who's been great with Alex since the beginning (I know many people don't like him, but he's a good guy in disguise, and Izzie's the kind of girl who'd be able to bring out all the good he has inside). As for him, he's kind of like Meredith, had a difficult childhood, and he's screwd just like she was. This season, I bet we'll see his journey to happinesse. Jackie, if you hate Izzie and you think she and Alex deserve each other, you must hate Alex too. I don't blame you, he is an ass, and I think Izzie can do a million times better than him, let's say a guy like George.
I am not watching the show if I have to see Izzie and Alex together. I want Gizzie and always will.

I HATE Izzi and George!! She meddles into other people's relationship (george and callie, alex and rebecca, etc) I don't like her one bit, but if she has to end up with sb, let it be with Alex! They deserve each other.

Anyone but Alex and Izzie, I agree. Those two are so wrong together on every level.

Berk. Alex and Izzie make me sick to my stomach. She is so much better with george. If not him, at least mark. I think she and Alex will get together but then they will break up when they eralize they make a horrible couple.
As for Gexie, they didn't say they weren't happening, they will just happen in the second half of the season probably.
Gexie is cute. I like them. They are not as great as Gizzie though.
