Do You Miss the George-Izzie Friendship?

by at . Comments

Gizzie fizzled out romantically, but it's the friendship George and Izzie that has many Grey's Anatomy fans up in arms. Specifically, they're wondering where it went.

These two BFFs used to be inseparable, but we haven't seen much of them on screen lately (although hopefully "All By Myself" will reverse that trend somewhat).

Tell us how you feel about the diminishing (or at least absent) friendship between the two in our informal survey below. This online poll is unscientific, and just for fun, but still, it does provide us at least a ballpark idea of where Grey's Anatomy fan opinion lies ...

Of course I do. The show feels so dark and dull without it. Who do we write to about this and how much we miss our George?

Every single second of the show I do. It is such a pivotal important thing on the show. It is part of its heart and soul. I want their friendship back.

Avatar

Like hell yeah I do, so so much.

Avatar

Yeah they had the best friendship ever.

Avatar

Heartless, yeah that is the word I was looking for. Their friendship brought heart to the show.

Oh my god, YES! I miss them like crazy, this show is just weird and heartless without their BFFness.

You kept your promise, thanks. I love those two so much as a couple and as friends, but I will take whetever I can get with them right now. Them being best friends again would make mke so happy. Look how cute they are.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

When we say things like "people don't change" it drives scientist crazy because change is literally the only constant in all of science. Energy. Matter. It's always changing, morphing, merging, growing, dying. It's the way people try not to change that's unnatural. The way we cling to what things were instead of letting things be what they are. The way we cling to old memories instead of forming new ones. The way we insist on believing despite every scientific indication that anything in this lifetime is permanent. Change is constant. How we experience change that's up to us. It can feel like death or it can feel like a second chance at life. If we open our fingers, loosen our grips, go with it, it can feel like pure adrenaline. Like at any moment we can have another chance at life. Like at any moment, we can be born all over again.

Doesn't matter how tough we are, trauma always leaves a scar. It follows us home, it changes our lives, trauma messes everybody up, but maybe that's the point. All the pain and the fear and the crap. Maybe going through all of that is what keeps us moving forward. It's what pushes us. Maybe we have to get a little messed up, before we can step up.
