Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Izzie and Denny, Callie and ...
Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly has some interesting Grey's Anatomy spoilers in his Q&A today, and even a direct quote from Shonda Rhimes about the Izzie-Denny story line.

Q: What the hell is going on with Grey's Anatomy's Denny and Izzie?
A: Don't be so quick to judge, people. Who among us hasn't gone to first base with a dead ex at least once in our lives? Exactly.
Q: Okay, I'm officially worried that Izzie really does have a brain tumor and Shonda Rhimes is paving the way for Katherine Heigl's departure at the end of the season.
A: Hold on ... I've got Shonda Rhimes on the line ... She says she heard through the grapevine that I've been flooded with hundreds of e-mails from mostly irate and confused Grey's Anatomy fans wondering WTF is going on with this bizarre love story between a dead Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and an alive Izzie ... The show's creator and executive producer says she'd like to address readers directly via this exclusive statement ...
"I think that the love triangle with Denny, Izzie, and Alex is among the most interesting we've ever done. Watching the chemistry between Jeffrey and Katherine again has been really touching. I can't wait for our viewers to see where we're taking it. But what it won't involve is Izzie having a brain tumor."
Alright, so the brain tumor theory is out the window. What does that leave in the way of logical explanations?
Q: What's next for Callie (Sara Ramirez) on Grey's Anatomy now that Hahn's gone?
A: The official ABC logline for the December 4 episode, "All My Myself," includes this little morsel: "Callie can't figure out if Sadie is just friendly or flirtatious." Translation: Sadie is next for Callie.

my theory is izzie is going to be in an accident and denney will be there as a guide giving her a choice to fight and stay with alex or move on with him (shes got to choose one sooner or later)

And please don't disrespect Callie she has had a very hard time. And most of her trouble was because of Izzy. Well her 2 relatonships where screwed up because of Izzy. Why is it gross that a lesbian would like to see something she can relate to on tv? The hetrosexual people get to roll around all over each other on this show. And I don't conplain. Even though it is kinda Gross!!!

OMG....I am so tired of the Denny and Izzy thing. I could just die. The relationship they had back in the beginning before he died was sweet and innocent. This story line now is stupid and unnessary. And it has lasted way to long. Lets move on. I can't believe that the Callica story line had to be AX'ed. But this stupid dead Denny thing has gone on and on and on. The writters are beginning to piss off the viewers. Well this viewer any way. Every week before I watch the show. I pray that she dies or he goes to the light. It is kinda bad that a show would piss off the viewers and make them hate the actors. Don't ya think?

I love the whole, "Denny and Izzie relationship" thing. I want Shonda to keep it up. No matter how far fetched and odd it is, I don't care... I just love Denny!

I think Callie and Sloan should get involved seriously. Give up Callie being a lesbo..it's just gross. I would like to see Sloan get serious with someone...like Callie. Little Grey is too young for him..that's gross too. Vote for Callie and Sloan!

I would love Mark and Callie together... i dont think lexie is to young, they just arent a good match.
I was so surprised to hear that people thought Izzy is annoying, i LOVE her!! Always have!! I dont like that she is making love to ghost but that is the writers fault not hers! I cant wait to find out where this story is going to take us. Hopefully it takes us there soon though, so we can move on from the ghost stuff. Dont get me wrong i loved Denny, but hes dead.... let it be.
And i am soooooo happy Dr Hahn is gone, oh she rubbed me the wrong way....
I dont mind the new blonde girl but i HATE HATE HATE how she calls merideth 'deth' uhhhhhh that annoys me so bad.
Other then the 'deth' and the sex with ghost story line, im lovin the show and all the characters!

I was a huge Denny and Izzie fan and his death left me gagging for more so in light of the new storyline I'm not going to question it, I'm just going to watch and savour every-no idea what's going on-minute of it. I also loved watching Mark trying to 'woo' Cristina. It may not have been sincere but it was definitely hilarious!

I like what Janet posted. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. I, too, noticed that Denny kept repeating over and over again "I'm here for you." In other words, "I'm here (to come) for you." To deliver you to the other side, perhaps? Either that or what Caduceus said. Although Shonda Rimes said "it is not a tumor" saying that and then having it be a different type of brain-related problem (psycotic break) seems a little misleading. I am just waiting for the 5 Denny episodes to be over-with. Plus the whole surgery on a coworker was ridiculous. What are the 10 years old? The only good thing recently is Yang and the new doctor.

I am a real MD. This show is complete la la fantasy land... it always has been. Back when ER was good, they had some realism (not any more though). It's always sad when the profession is not accurately depicted. Give people the wrong ideas of what is really going on in the hospital. Anyway, the reason I posted was this... Izzy is having a psychotic break. She's the right age, she is having auditory and visual hallucinations. She is the television version of "A Beautiful Mind." Maybe she will get on some medication and be semi normal, but I doubt she could continue as a surgeon. (Of course I don't think an odd Asberger patient could become a renowned heart surgeon, you do have to meet the patients first.)
Schizophrenia is always sad... more so for someone with a lot of potential and has worked hard to achieve. Plus, Izzy was the most likable of all the characters... she's going into movies instead.

I HATE SADIE!!! GET RID OF HER!!! ALSO- WTF is happening...ARGH. I am going to stop reading this stuff because it gets me so mad. ANYHOW..does anyone KNOW WHY ELLEN POMPEO LOOKS SO DIFFERENT?? IS SHE PREGGERS??
