Although I hate the Izzie/Denny thing, and February seems like a long time from now, just keep in mind that reruns will be aired a few weeks in a row soon. Like I would imagine December 4th's episode, and maybe one more will air before the end of the year, and it probably won't come back new until near the end of January.

About the Gizzie thing, to me it was a disaster of major proportions, but that is my opinion, everybody is entitled to theirs, so I am not judging anybody because they think differntly. As to the Denny-Izzie thing, right now, as there is no rational explanation to its existence, I believe it to be lame... my reasoning is that if their chemistry is sooooo amazing, they shouldn´t have killed him, or rather, have Izzie "kill" him in a moment of total insanity... you just don´t do ghosts in medical shows... but then I never really liked the Izzie-Denny love affair, so there you have it...
I think Izzie has always being annoying, this is not recent... this air-time controversy you talk about may be a way to appease KH, since last year she bitched about being irrelevant and threatened with leaving... think about it...
As to George, I always thought he was the nicest intern, but that is his problem, he is too nice. He needs to grow a backbone and stand up for himself.

Okay, first of all, I agree with a few of you... This Denny storyline is growning on me, I'm really curious to see how it ends, even though I'm disappointed to wait until February...
Yes! George will be in the mix finally! This news is soo good, and it says it will have to do with Alex/Izzie/Denny, which must mean that Izzie confides in him. And can we move on past the Erica thing, please?
Can't wait until December for the show to come back!

I also hate the Izzie-Denny storyline. However, I am going to continue to watch and trust that the writers are taking this somewhere that will make sense in the end. If, after all is said and done, it still makes me go "wtf!?!", then I will say bye bye to Grey's. But, for now at least, I am giving the writers the benefit of the doubt.

Just about the age thing, this is what I, after careful observation, have come up with.
In season 1, Cristina is 28 (on the OR board)
In season 3, Izzie is 27 (her daughter was born when she was 16, she's now 11)
In season 3, Addie is 39 (she says so in the last episode)
In season 4, Lexie is 24 (Alex says so)
In season 5, Sadie is 30 (the interns say it during rounds)
Now, we have to assume Derek and Mark are the same age as Addie, and Meredith has to be at least six years older then Lexie and around the same age as Sadie. So, yeah, Lexie is a bit young for Mark, but stranger things have been done.
Which brings me to Denny. Although I don't like this storyline, I'll admit it keeps me watching. I'm in for the long haul with this show, but this, as much as it is annoying me, is keeping me excited to see what he does every episode.
I'm also sad Hahn left, but, as I did with Burke, I'm starting to get over it. Also, I'm not a fan of Gizzie romantically, but they have such great

Oh and get rid of this stupid Denny storyline, they went out of their way to fire Brooke on such short notice cuz they thought people didn't like Erica and now you have people who complain about Izze and Deny and yet they're keeping him around until February, this is outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!

This show has been a joke since Erica left.
I despised Dr. Dixon, out of all of the cardiac surgeoeons she is the least interesting, and I think she's even more annoying than....Rose!
I'm still mad over the Brooke Smith firing, did you see how the ABC suit said they used a "sample group" which means they only asked a couple of Grey's Anatomy fans, prolly people who only like the skinny, young doctors. They should have done more research regarding how people view Callica cuz i've seen a lot of uproar on the internet about this.
Grey's was getting so good with the CAllica storyline, it was fresh and innovative compared to other gay storylines, maybe if people complain or protest, then they can bring Erica back and try to improve the show from there.
Cuz you cant just keep firing people and bringing new people and keep resetting the show, you should keep as much familiarity as possible!

If the suits at ABC despised the Erica HAhn character so much,then why did they have her back as a regular character? I agree, the writers could have made her character more people friendly because of her friendship with Callie. Instead they ax her, and by doing this take another "best friend" away from Callie. Remember Callie and Addison were friends before she went into "Private Practice".

Ok I am sure this has been said a million times. If the execs didn't like the way Hahn's character acted why not just write her differently. She could have become softer through her relationship with Callie. Then if they still thought that was no good then write her off. But the way it went down -so suddenly -I think is what ticks most people off.

as long as callie stays on the show...than its all good...callie is my favorite character on the show...if anyone needs to leave it is izzie. she is just annoying.

I think that cllica was amazing and that the chemistry was lacking a little bit but it made the show more interesting. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THE WHOLE IZZIE AND DENNY SITUATION!!! it is soooooo lame...what was the point of killing denny if he is going to be around haunting izzie.
It makes no sensd what so ever and the fact that i heard that izzie is hallucinating this because of a brain tumor, it could be something else...the whole izzie and denny thing is really lame...izzie needs to go...HAHN SHOULD HAVE STAYED. ABC NETWORK YOU SUCK NOW.

First of all, thanks again to iheartizzie for bringing to light the absence of George-- Us George fans REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!! I hate to wait until February, but I'm glad to hear that we will finally be seeing more George and also that he will be involved with what's going on with Izzie and Denny and Alex-- cause he's her best friend and it doesn't make sense for him not to be there with her when she's going through such a big emotional thing.

Well, I figured the age thing out at the beginning of the whole show. I mean, think about it:
Meredith was just an intern, which added the years she spent around Europe, puts her in her late 20s.
Derek had even gotten married! I don't remember if it was for 6 years or 9 years. But it's pretty clear that Derek is either in his late 30s or very early 40s.
I totally agree with the whole "ABC dumping Brooke Smith" thing. I like Brooke Smith, I love Sara Ramirez. I hated Hahn but I still love Callie. I think the love story between them was an attempt to save Hahn, to show her inner person, her NICER side. But she never stopped being mean to Cristina. She was nice to everyone else, but the simple fact that she had slept with Burke and what's his name(the other mentor) just made Hahn think less of Cristina.
So I'm glad Hahn's out.
And I'm even happier that Addie is coming back in february!!! Richard never filled her spot...well, SHONDA never filled her spot. (bc every hospital

Are people forgetting that Meredith and Lexie are, what, a year apart? And Mark and Derek are the same age. So, in reality, isn't Meredith too young for Derek?
I hate the idea of Lexie and Mark together. I want Lexie and George, but Lexie needs to get HER crap together, because she's gotten annoying since the little intern society started. Thankfully, that's done with. Hopefully our residents, the ones that were on the show first, will get more airtime instead of the little twelve-year-olds.
And finally, people have decided to ask about George. Hopefully next year, or next season, he'll have a bigger storyline. If they need help, I would be more than HAPPY to do the job for FREE! (hint hint, Shonda and everyone else over at the Grey's Anatomy writing staff).

Oh, and I forgot, this Izzie-Denny thing is ten times worse than the Gizzie incident, but since now nobody seems to remember any of it, not even Callie, maybe we will soon forget all about this dead man walking disaster.
