Yesterday, the news broke that T.R. Knight wants out of his Grey's Anatomy contract, poising himself to be the latest in a line of cast members to depart the series.

Now that the dust is settling a bit, a clearer picture of why he's so unhappy and what the show intends to do with his character is materializing. And it ain't pretty.
