Two Extra Seasons of Desperate Housewives?
The series creator of ABC's Desperate Housewives, Marc Cherry, had previously stated that he planned on ending the show in 2011 when his contract was over, ending at season seven. However, TV Guide has learned that at a Wednesday cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the 100th episode, Cherry announced his desire to extend the series to a total of nine seasons.
Well, so far ABC hasn't formally picked it up for the extra seasons, but having the creator on board seems to help. As far as the house wives, so far TV Guide's sources indicate that Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria Parker are all already on board.
We'll definitely be watching the extra two seasons. You guys?
