The producers of NBC's 30 Rock searched far and wide to find an actress unique enough to play the mother of Judah Friedlander's… um, unique Frank Rossitano. Not an easy task.

The winner: Broadway legend Patti Lupone!

The Tony Award winner, who recently wowed NYC audiences as Gypsy's Mommie Dearest, was last seen on the small screen playing the mother of Michael Urie's Marc on Ugly Betty.

One can only imagine the hilarious 30 Rock quotes to follow. It is Frank, after all. The man does not shy away from offering his insightful opinions. Or broadcasting them via hats.

The mother of Frank must be so, so proud.
