So strong was the speculation that T.R. Knight wanted off Grey's Anatomy - and would be granted this request - that we went so far as to post our favorite memories of George.

Q: What is the big scoop on Grey's Anatomy?
A: I can tell you T.R. Knight's rumored departure is not a done deal and that last I heard from my sources, there is a possibility they may work it out to have him stay on the series. Anyone else crossing your fingers that he'll stick around?

T.R. Knight is a very talented, young actor, and just wonderful as Dr George O'Malley. Grey's Anatomy will lose more viewers, I think, than it already has if he leaves. He is an intregal part of the original Grey's Anatomy and will be missed terribly if he leaves. Katherine Heigl, on the other hand, can leave now and I will never miss her for a second. She is a bigheaded, full-of-herself, I'm-too-big-for-this-show-now, you-didn't-give-me-enough-material-so-I-can't-try-for-an-Emmy, after all-I'm-a-movie-star-now-so-I-should-be-the-star-of-this-show-or-let-me-out-of-my-contract-so-I-can-go-make-more-movies, person whose movies I've never bothered to watch. I find her to be a totally unlikable person in real life and on the show. MY OPINION ABOUT HER, SO DON'T YELL AT ME, OK? As far as Isaiah Washington is concerned, I've read many articles about him, and he has had problems on every project he has worked on, because he considers women second class citizens, and discriminates against gays

Gizzzie forever! Yeah Burke is gone so his one fan should just shut up and go away. Noone loves Burke, but everyone loves George.

i think George is the guy that everybody likes him but he just can get a happily ever after story because that's his thing. I hope he stay's and get back together with Izzie. Denny is good but he is a ghost, Alex is ... i don't know. I really thing that the scene in the elevator with George and Izzie is the best so far in the show.

i wouldn't mind if george left. he's been really annoying on the show lately. if they keep him, they need to improve his character.

I hope he stays! I love George and I'm not ready to see him go. But I don't want to keep him around if he's not going to have a storyline... that would make it even more frustrating. Go T.R.!

i really hope he stays. give him a story line or even make him apart of one, he was a great accomplance with the izzie-denny drama in season 2. please stay!!!!
