Can you hear that, American Idol fans?

The show is inching closer and closer to an actual focus on singing. Sorry, untalented, attention-hungry contestants. You had your chance in the audition spotlight.

The official list of top 36 contestants will be announced tonight. We'd be shocked if the following contestants, all of whom impressed judges last night, weren't included on it:

Lil Rounds: Sang “I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys. Weird name, incredible voice, high expecations for this crooner.

Anoop Desai: Rocked out - and we mean rocked out!!! - to "My Prerogative" by Bobby Brown.

Adam Lambert: Was his rendition of Cher's "Believe" too theatrical? Not for us. We like his style.
