Gossip Girl

Bravo is currently in the production phase of a real-life Gossip Girl - a reality TV show centering on private-school kids in New York City, according to various reports.

Comparisons have already been drawn to reality shows like Laguna Beach (which spawned The Hills), with the same list of potential problems therein: namely filming underage drinking, partying and teenagers hooking up with each other rampantly.

Hopefully it works out! The series is scheduled to premiere later this year and will follow the same production style as the "webisodes" that Bravo aired of the children from The Real Housewives of Orange County. No single school will be featured exclusively.

The folks behind Tim Gunn's Guide to Style will produce this reality TV take on Gossip Girl. If that doesn't virtually guarantee a huge hit, we don't know what will.
