I LOVED THIS EPISODE. It has to be one of my favorite episodes. First off, it made me cry, and I love to cry. Getting right down to it, Christina and Owen are by far my favorite couple ever on Grey's Anatomy, other than Izzie and Denny. I think it is amazing how much progress Christina has made in the supportive field. Just holding Owen as tight as she can and letting him sleep in her lap...it just made me fall apart. I laughed soooo hard when Christina and Owen were walking down the hallway to the piano music. It was so romantic! They do not even have to look at eachother to feel their connection.
Mer-Der fan as well, and I am glad they did not do the proposal this episode. It shouldn't be all planned out and perfect, it is just not Mer-Der! It should be spontaneous, out of the blue, and in the strangest place...like in the middle of a surgery of something!
Izzie --- OMG, Izzie. A couple episodes ago, when she finally realized what Denny was saying, "I'm here for you, li

Ok, I've been one of the biggest critics of the show of late but I have to admit that I loved everything about this episode---First of all, the slo-mo scenes with Cristina and Hunt are HIGH COMEDY--they are brilliant! She just finished telling Mer how her mom's journal is reading like a Victorian novel when she suddenly sees Hunt and practically swoons--it was HILARIOUS, I screamed with laughter!
Mark and Lexie are an awesome couple, I think they are so cute together, GOOD for each other, and I love that she has enough self esteem to demand a real relationship from him. Good girl! She may be young, she has her alcoholic father to deal with, but she's, in some ways, a bit more stable than Mer--perhaps because she had a loving mother and not the critical demanding mother that Mer had.
Anyway, I don't think the woman from Hunt's past is his fiance or even a romantic interest--(unless did I miss some spoiler that says that???) I thought it might be the wife or girlfriend of one of th

Oh I hope she keeps her promises yoo. She has disappointed us George fans so many times, I don't know if I have any faith in her left at all, sigh.

Your welcome! I also hope she keeps her promise because 20 seconds of Georgetime is not cutting it!

I agree that it better be a merder wedding. I don't think it will be alex and izzie but I have a bad feeling that it could be Sloan and lexie (throw up in my mouth) because she writes 'Mark loves lexie, and lexie loves mark, and they are suprised about that as we are.'

I wish i could post everything that she wrote for this article on here but I think that might be against copywright. I will say this about the wedding though she says "Yes, there will be a wedding- a beautiful, joyous wedding that will suprise you".

THANK YOU, gottahavemygrey's!!!! God, I hope Shonda is telling the truth and holding true to her promise this time!!!!
The wedding had better be a MerDer wedding! If it's Alex and Izzie on her death bed or something, I will be so ticked! Who else could get married?? It's gotta be MerDer.
That news about George helping Izzie and fighting for her-- I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big smile on my face now!!!
We George fans have waited long enough!!!!

greysaddiction and all of the other george fans-
We ARE going to see more george!(Thank God) In the latests issue of TV Guide Shonda talks of the future for our Grey's characters and she says that "once we find out what is wrong with izzie, Alex, George, and everyone else will not only stand by her but fight for her."
And there is talk of a wedding. but no mention of whose :(

Gina & Delinda- I totally missed the pics from the muffin scene, but I do remember some talk about George and Izzie scenes that were expected and then cut before final airing. UGH! Seriously? We George fans need to start a support group or something! I am hanging on to this hope that one day we will have more than 20 seconds through a glass wall of George and Izzie time. b-t-w-- seeing Lexie looks so jealous over it would have been great!!! When she was trying so hard to be George's bff and crushing so hard over him was when I like her the LEAST. I do like Lexie, but I thought she was so pathetic then. She was forcing this friendship. And George? He was reeling from so many big things at the time, there was no way he could have reciprocated!

I am not sold on Mark and Lexie either.

Greys, around episode 5.3, we got a lot of caps of Izzie and George together smiling and giggling. Izzie was giving George a muffin and Lexie looked jealous. This site even said the Gizzie friendship is finally back on, and then nothing. We had no GI scene at all.

I was so angry because I had been looking forward to that scene all week and nothing.

I don't want to get my hopes up again and get my heart broken.

Owen and Christina made this episode for me, they are SO great together. Still not sold on Mark/Lexie, but it was sure nice to see George.
