Call this the motherload of all Desperate Housewives spoilers, but we're about to lose one of the original housewives.  Nicolette Sheridan, who plays Edit Britt, is leaving the show according to what both ABC and her rep confirmed to TV Guide.

Although Edie has sort of always played the fifth wheel to the original four ladies, generally getting less screen time, this season has mostly revolved around her crazy, plotting husband, Dave.  We feel our favorite neighborhood tramp always brought something very unique to the show that will be missed.

So how do you guys think Edie will leave the show?  At the end of season four they had her moving away to Boston only to return in season five after the time jump.  Think they'll do something she can come back from or kill her off?  If they kill her off our money is on Dave for being the murderer.
