Last night was billed as Grand Ole Opry night on American Idol, as the 11 finalist sang Nashville classics - but not everybody sang country, in the end.

Adam Lambert brought a Middle Eastern flair to Johnny Cash’s "Ring of Fire," while Kris Allen and Anoop Desai cheesed it up and went for the teen heartthrob vote with tender renditions of "To Make You Feel My Love" and "Always on My Mind."
