It would be a tough task for the judges and producers to rig American Idol ... or would it? Either way, that's just what a recent report is suggesting is going on.

At the very least, the circled hopefuls are supposedly being hand-picked and groomed by the powers that be in hopes of surviving for a final four showdown.
