As previously reported, Booth will suffer from a health crisis on Bones that's going to cause him to hallucinate.  Now what he's going to hallucinate about, you're never going to believe.

According to what executive producer Stephen Nathan told Ausiello Files, Booth will be taking a trip to Family Guy's Quahog, Rhode Island and visiting everyone's favorite talking baby, Stewie. 

Stephen Nathan tries to explain himself, "This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given [Booth's condition].  It's not just a fantasy of ours. There's medical research to back up what's going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters."

Nathan continues to justify their crossover by saying, "We were never going to have Stewie just walk into the lab and start talking to everybody -- that would be a bald and shameless crossover.  It was always conceived to be a realistic hallucination... one that would lead us to what we wanted to do with Booth and Brennan."

Ooh, now we're talking.  Somehow Booth's hallucinations will lead to the Booth / Brennan sex scene on the May 14 season finale.  Stewie's appearance will be on the May 7th episode when Brennan asks Booth to be the father of her child.  According to Nathan, "Stewie will be in the sperm donation room with Booth."
