When Nicollette Sheridan leaves Desperate Housewives later this month, we're about to get a much older resident on Wisteria Lane to fill the void.

The new neighbor?  77 year old character actress, Gloria LeRoy will be our latest housewife according to Ausiello Files.  Though his DH insider insists LeRoy is not actually replacing Sheridan, but rather "will figure into Edie's exit in a surprising way."

A suprising way that involves an increasingly crazy Orson, a violent act, and a touch of dementia.  In other Desperate Housewives casting news, Sarah Knowlton has been cast as a woman who may or may not have an affair with Tom.
