Last night was the series premiere of NBC's new drama, Kings, and wow was it off to a powerful start.  The series premiere was two hours long and felt more like a movie than an actual television show.

In this fantastic pilot, a young soldier, David Shepard, went behind enemy lines and rescued the King's son, Jack, from a hostage situation.  He became a hero as he came back and his actions eventually led to peace.

Of course, we mostly knew that from the promos.  What we didn't know was all the twists and turns this amazing drama would throw at us and all that it set up for the future episodes.  Read our "Goliath" recap to attempt and catch up.
