Desperate Housewives Spoilers: Gale Harold Back on May 3

at . Comments

Just six months after being seriously injured in a motorcycle accident, actor Gale Harold is now fully recovered, looking good and according to Ausiello Files, ready to return to ABC's Desperate Housewives.

Gale Harold will return to the show as Susan's ex, Jackson, on May 3rd.  According to creator Marc Cherry, "Quite frankly, I think he looks even better [than before the crash]."  When Jackson returns he comes with a "very important question for Susan -- one that she's kind of stunned by."

Susan and Jackson

While Harold's accident far from ruined the show, it definitely made Cherry and company change plans.  "We were planning to end his storyline [around midseason]. But because of the accident, we get to bring him back for the end of the season, which will be a nice kind of full circle journey for Susan in season 5."

As for whether Harold will be in season six of Desperate Housewives, Cherry hints that the once commitment-phobic actor might be willing to come back.  He says, "I think Gale may have changed his priorities [since the accident].  But those decisions won't be made until May."

I love you once. I love you twice. I love you more than beans and rice.

(narrating) The world is filled with good fathers. How do we recongnize them? They are the ones who are missed so terribly, everything falls apart in their absence. (Shot of Andrew and Bree packing his suitcase, placing a photo of Rex inside last.) They are the ones who love us, long before we even arrive. (Shot of Carlos smiling as he rubs Gabrielle's stomach.) They are the ones who come looking for us, when we can't find our way home. (Shot of Mike walking Bongo as he looks at a flyer of Zach's) Yes, the world is filled with good fathers. And the best are the ones who make the women in their lives feel like good mothers (Shot of Tom comforting Lynette as she cries)
