i think it is realllyy cute that chuck is going to help blair... they are so cute and scheming
but then again what about NATE? he loves blair too.
also serena she is always the odd one out . in the book she hooks up with nate a couple times but ovs they are NOT ment to be together. i like that chuck doesnt try to change who blair is meanwhile nate....
then there is dan. poor dan i thought he and serena were a very strange couple . him and vannessa should, tho.

I find HILARIOUS how the Nair fans can't say anything good about their own ship without bashing Chuck with the same old things over and over again.
Btw, he says it's the opposite because the last spoilers were confusing and people thought Chuck would sabbotage against Blair, not for her, I think it's just that.

ok, when I first read the scoop i thought "just the opposite" meant for blair to try and sabotage chuck's campaign... even if it's unlikely for him to actually campaign for that xD but with GG you never know... but now that I read the comments, maybe you're right and he helps her? idk... hope so!!!

I really hope that what all of you are saying is right, but what if by "complete opposite" they mean that Blair sabotages Chuck's attempts to be Prom King. You have to admit, it does seem like the type of thing she would do; especially if she really wanted her and Nate to be the nights 'royalty'.

I wouldn't want Chuck to be the Prom King. This is so beneath him. He's Chuck Bass, he doesn't need reassurance that he is the King! I think Chuck is the type of guy who mocks and laughs at things like the prom-king-and-queen!

Wow, did not realise that was a butterfly. Looked like a flower of sorts to me at first glance.
There is no way Chuck could become prom king, I love him and all, but as it has proclaimed many times throughout the seasons Chuck does not have many friends, or people who like him so unless he blackmailed people into making him prom king then...wait, yes there is a way for Chuck to become prom king. That would be hilarious with Chuck and Blair as king and queen. lol...still unlikely though as Nate was up on stage with Blair when she got her crown according to the spoiler pics.
XOXO_96 I was thinking the same thing reading the thread for the first sneak peek - people are more forgiving of Blair. I always felt bad for Chuck at the beginning of High Society when she says "I don't want anyone to know". Ouch.
Anyway, I knew there had to be a mistake about Chuck-sabotage-at-the-prom rumor... it just didn't gel with the whole season, which unfolded as a kindof slow-motion epiphany for him. Maybe they should've given him a butterfly-pattered bow-tie!
I'm thinking Blair may come to realize at the prom that she loves Nate - but is not *in* love with him... which would explain her being happy in some photos then the clinging sadness when they're dancing, and then her leaving alone. I definitely do NOT think she leaves with Chuck. I mean, then why ***SPOILER*** would Chuck be giving her gifts and flowers on the street if they were already together at the end of the prom?***END SPOILER***

Actually I find very "cheesy" the prom Queen and King thing - perhaps because I don't live in US and I don't know what this is all about exactly! But if my Chuckie wants to make his Blair happy by assisting her election or whatever it's called, then I'm standing on his side! GO CHUCK!!!

Yes, but irony amuses me. He just seems...so out of place with normal society, with his overage habits and penchant for floral bow ties and social destruction. Just think of the ways he would convince people to actually vote for him! It makes me chuckle.

It would be awesome if Chuck became Prom King! Its weird, there's so much drama and they all act so much older, we forget they're in high school. Chuck, seeming the oldest of all of them due to his "underage boozing and womanizing" would make a really funny Prom King because we wouldn't expect it. Also, it'd be cool for him and Blair to be king and queen :-)
