Heroes Episode Guide, Photos, Quotes & More from "I Am Sylar"

by at . Comments

If the goal of this episoe of Heroes was to make Sylar seem more sympathetic, we don't know if it accomplished it.

While it was cool to see the show's ultimate bad guy constantly shifting into new people, it didn't make a lot of sense for him to actually take on the personality of his mother at times. That's never happened before. It appeared to be yet another example of the writers taking liberities just to make a storyline work.

Do you agree? Disagree? Read a detailed recap of "I Am Sylar" right now.

I think the reason he didn't kill Micah was because I think he's still partly good. I mean he's been doing this whole good-bad-good-bad thing where he switches every four episodes. I wish they'd make up their minds but I guess that's not gonna happen anytime soon. I really didn't like the season finale though............. R.I.P Nathan.... Although I doubt that Gabriel is going to stay like Nathan forever. They always find SOMEWAY to bring Sylar back.

I totally agree with Jason. The writers arn't stupid, they know what they're doing, and it was a totally awesome episode.

All though I agree with much of what you all are saying I have to say the thhis new season sucks in my opinion... they cant seem to stop making loopholes in the plot and they also seem to be unable to stick to any one disaster in the plot or atleast explain as to why it hasn't been mentioned in ten episodes... what happened to the explosion in washington? and what about sylar the abilities he has aquired in for seasons seem to come and go as the wrighters feel like using them... if he can hear a pin drop from a mile away how was did nathans agents sneak up on him? and if matt can appear that hes not in the room as a whole swat team walks in then why did he stand in front of the door with a gun like an idiot when they kidnapped noah? the first season was almost flawless second season left you with alot of questions that excited many fans for the third season and the third season thus far has let me down... they need to tie up all the loose end before it can no longer be saved and the series goes to shit

guys i think the last 2 or 3 episodes weren't as good as i hoped, i mean, i hoped for action just like season 1 episode '5 years on', see how much action was there, why can't they make episodes like that. anyways I think HIRO NAKAMURA will die, he will do somthing heroic and die. I luv hiro but i think he's gonna die. as for peter I REAlly hope he gets sylars abilities.

I THINK HE DIDNT KILL MICAH BECAUSE I DONT THINK HE KILLS CHILDREN..TEENAGERS YEA BUT KIDS? I MEAN ITS POSSIBLE HE CROSSES LINES BUT TO KILL CHILDREN.I THINK ITS SAFE TO SAY HE DRAWS A LINE THERE

GIVE PETER'S POWER BACK TO HIM!!! Once u do that make him
evolve, don't keep him stupid. Same thing for Sylar. 3rd seasons and he's still not sure who he is. wtf? Give Hiro his time travel power back and to keep it in check create big consequences when he uses it. They messed up the show but i think there doing ok trying to fix it. Anyway that's just my opinion. At least it's better then Smallville.

I can't believe what I'm reading on this site. I agree with the posts on here, I thought it was a brilliant episode as it showed you that Sylar is totally driven by the notion of being special to people. I imagine that while he was a watchmaker, no one paid attention to him other than his Mother, both Fathers didn't want him, Elle didn't, etc. He only got their attention when he showed them how special he was (i.e. killing the silly finger-shooting emo, showing his real Dad his healing ability) and when Sylar realises that this attention/love wasn't what he thought it would be, he kills the person or punishes them. I thought the episode gave a real insight into the way Sylar thinks and it sets up perfectly the season finale. Good call Milccman. I did have the feeling that Peter will absorb Sylar's ability to solve his problem of not being able to collect powers. Unfortunately, I feel that this will be the end of Sylar on the show as they will kill him and I have a strong feeling that Peter will become the new villian due to the "Hunger"

It's ok for you guys to give your opinion, but I prefere to just watch the show and not complain. We don't have to be analysing everything! TV is for entertainment... if you're not entertained, just change the channel. This site is way too negative.

Uhhh... Sylar did change into his mother, and did take on her personality, but only in talking to himself. The way you describe it, you make it sound like he's actually changing into his Mother... Anyway, Sylar has the power to see how things work, a power to see the history of any object (which he used when holding the snow globe and the scissors) and a shape shifting power. All three of these were working together when Sylar had his little episode. It's been made very, very clear thus far that Sylar likes (and is very good at) pretending to be other people, and has a knack for it (partly due to his original ability, but with the power to see an object's "history" and his new found shape shifting... Well, it gives him that much more skill in this field... and in many cases makes him that much more vulnerable.) It's also clear that he's still getting the hang of the shapeshifting ability, hence him waking as a different person, having a blue eye for an hour, etc. But yeah... I'm done with this site now. You officially don't know what you're talking about.

First off, I am a great actor. Second, the reason I left daphne was because she wasnt putting out and kept running away from me. The writers for this show are geniuses and are second only to the great Elron Hubbard. If you dont like the show, dont watch it. There are plenty of other losers who will continue to watch and keep my paycheck coming.
