Kristen Bell to Guest Star on Gossip Girl?
This rumor pops up every once in awhile, but this time, Kristen Bell herself has commented on how she wants to make an on-screen appearance as Gossip Girl.
The actress who narrates the series as the mysterious blogger - who was seen on set last month - wants to emerge from behind the scenes to play a bit part.
"I've pitched [exec producer] Josh Schwartz a couple of times for me to be on camera as a waitress or something but he wasn't buying it," Kristen Bell told the New York Daily News. "Hopefully he'll change his mind in the future!"

I could see her on like the finale when Gossip Girl is over. FINALLY finding out who Gossip Girl is & it's her!

I couldn't believe it Kristen....Veronica Mars!!! is THE gossip girl voice over. I was so amazed
I mean i watched Veronica Mars for a really long time i couldnt even reconize her voice. I hope she is seen in gossip girl that would be amazing !!!

This situation reminds me of the episode of 'Eveybody hates Chris' where Chris Rock himself appeared on screen as some sort of guidence counsellor... That kind of ruined something in the show because he, just like Kristen, has a reconizable voice.

I think she should totally appear on camera, just because we know who she really is doesn't take the the mystery and the fun for the upper east siders.

I think it would be stupid for Kristen Bell to receive a "seen" bit part on the show. Part of what makes the concept of the show interesting is not knowing who the Gossip Girl character is among all of the other characters. By having Kristen Bell on the show and be seen, we would automatically know right away who the Gossip Girl character is, by who Kristen Bell is playing, since we all know what she looks like; thereby, defeating the purpose of it being a mystery. I think it would be alright if they had hired a unknown actress from the beginning to do the narration, but since it's Kristen Bell, I think it would be a mistake. Also, since the author of the book series never revealed who wrote the Gossip Girl gossip blogs--because she started writing the Gossip Girl Carlisle series and didn't want to give it away when there was going to be all new stories, with all new characters, to be told--I think that even if they did have Kristen Bell on the show, showing who Gossip Girl is, it w
