i thought it might be mark and lexie too, but then i remember that chyler leigh is pregnant and i read that they're not working it into the script they're just gonna hide it. wouldnt it be hard to have a wedding with her as the bride and hide it?

I love Bailey too! She's one of the best characters!
When it comes to most shows, I'm not big on spoilers. I'm just a bit addicted to Grey's Anatomy, and tend to go into mini-withdrawal between episodes (especially when the episodes are a month apart as they have been for most of this season), so spoilers make me very happy :)
And McCynic- I'll let you know if I hear anything about Jessica Capshaw and whether or not she is staying, although I'm sure it will get posted here as well. I hope she stays too!

It's funny - I totally scope out spoilers, but I don't think I want to know this one. It's like the scene where Owen choked Cristina - I was actually disappointed to see it in advance. Some things are better left unknown, or generalized, IMO. I want to see the big plot twist in the moment. I'm actually trying to kick the spoiler habit (it would be much easier if I wasn't seeking ways to procrastinate on all this unpleasant end of term work). Although I DO want to know if Arizona is staying. I like her that much - and as much as I like how good she is for Callie (which is a lot) I think it's the relationship with Bailey I like most (who is also one of my fav characters).

I really like Arizona too! She's a wonderful character :)
I know, it could be someone peripheral, but I just keep hoping that Shonda wouldn't build up this wedding and then do that to us. That would be flat out mean. Although, I wouldn't put it past her, she does like tricking us. I think we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that it's a couple we know and have something invested in. Or, we could try and convince Ausiello to tell us, but somehow, I don't see that happening :)
I'm so excited for this upcoming episode though! And maybe we'll get some more clues from it.

Kate, you forget that it could be someone peripheral. I doubt highly it will be Arizona and Callie. It would be too shotgun - even though Callie did initiate it the first time, do you really think she would again? And you forgot Izzie and Denny (which I doubt). My money is still on someone peripheral...though I have no money, so it's a safe bet.
I soooo hope they keep Arizona. I keep saying it - I love the character. She's so light and fun, but intelligent and spunky. I love her with Callie, but also with Bailey and more recently with Alex. They need to expand these relationships because they have everyone else hooked up at this point!

Yeah, I never really even considered the Chief and Adele, but good to know it's not them anyways. That leaves:
The crazy pregnant intern
Mark and Lexie
Alex and Izzie
and Callie and Arizona (though I think that's doubtful because they haven't been together very long and I'm not sure they're done in negotiations with Jessica Capshaw yet)
Let me know if I missed anyone, but I think that's all of the couples. Its looking good for the Mark/Lexie and Lexzie fans :)

it's making me sick of waiting, it's not fair of making us waiting, airing an episode once a per month, i can't wait, a solution will be to air some sneak peeks or promos, but in these conditions it's very hard in waiting it, do something, we are your fans, without us your TV show won't have the same success :)

Lexie's probably there b/c they are planning her sister's wedding.
I do miss George, but if Mer is trying on dresses, I don't think George would really be too into that, LOL!

I totally agree, it is Izzie's dream wedding.
This is what I see happening: They're all gonna get ready for a merder wedding (because Shonda did say that the episode would take place on their wedding day) and Izzie is going to be super excited and probably crying. Then, Meredith is going to realize that this isn't really her wedding - it's Izzie's. It's Izzie's dream, and possibly Izzie's only chance. She's going to have a really intense conversation with Derek after bursting into the room where he is getting ready, and she's going to have to reassure him that she really does want to get married, but it's Izzie's turn, and then she'll explain why. Then she'll have more really intense conversations with everyone else, Alex will propose, and they will get married.
Who knows what will actually happen, but that seems as plausible as any other explanation.
Anyways, it's kind a nice to theorize with a group of people who are about as crazy as I am :)

yeah i agree with almost everyone here, it's either bad acting (which i doubt), or shes faking it to see the dress. i think she's faking it. you can see her looking both ways and then gasping. either way i cant wait to see this episode!!

Nadine - Lexie is Merediths sister,she is Cris' intern and she lives with Alex & Izzy.She has been lunching with the gang all season so there is numerous reasons that she would be there.
I think the bit with Lexie and the fries is supposed to be a joke at Chylers expense.Lexie might not be preggers but CL really obviously is now and they are trying to laugh it off where they cant hide it

Kate I totally agree too much thinking about the timeline will make your ears bleed .One character says its one date and another says another sometimes in the same epi .Uuuuggghhh
I myself think it will be a Lexzie wedding in this epi with MerDer getting married at City Hall in the SF. The wedding that Iz looks to be planning, looks like the wedding she would want for herself rather than Mer.
