Gus C - I totally agree. I don't believe it's just a coincidence - first the rumor that Katherine Heigl and T.R Knight wanted to leave and then the fact that both their characters end up dying (maybe). Cause if there wasn't anything at all in the media about KH and T.R leaving the show, would people really believe they would die? And therefore want to tune in to see if that's the case? I think it's just a trick to get people wathing. You know, they're desperate these days, the ratings are nothing what they were in the first seasons.

Um... I thought this would be kind of obvious, but it's not. It's obvious that the writers and ABC are just messing with us. I bet you both Heigl and Knight have had absolutely no problems with the show at all. I bet you they are all false rumors to get people watching. If everything was ok on set, do you think people would care that much if Izzie and George were going to be killed off? NO! By causing such controversy all season and then leaving the character's lives hanging in the balance obviously shows they wanted publicity to the storyline. When Meredith almost died in Season 3, it seemed like a silly storyline because Meredith was the leading character, there were no rumors, and the show was very successful. However, now with Izzie and George, because of all the rumors, the writers have actually got us worried. In my opinion, this whole thing is a hoax.

I know. If George was going to die, we needed a lot more of him. We got nothing and now I feel so robbed.
George is my favorite.
I like Izzie but we saw way too much of her and not enough of him.
Not only did they break Gizzie up, my favorite couple, but they killed their friendship too.
I want George to live and I want TR to play him. We George fans deserve something good after the hell we have been through the last two years.
Or I'm not sticking around.

I guess ur right about the plot but there still needs to be time for everyone. And during Sweet Surrender u saw that Mark and Derek hit a breakthrough so there's some healing. It would be nice if Mer and Lexie bonded (especially if they write the baby in :D) It would also be nice to see George recuperating (if he survives!!!!!) and have a new love interest (the girl from the finale maybe?????) Izzie should just go into remission from the 4th or 5th epi of s6 and look more into balancing married life (especially to a doctor!) and being a surgeon. Other stuff like Owen/Christina,Mark/Lexie and Arizona/Callie and being in a relationship. Oh yeah Mer/Der will probably go to city hall on the premier probably the ending. See all the possibilities!!!!!!

To Tammie: Indeed George and Izzie give the show heart. They are 2 of our 5 beloved interns who we've watched evolve emotionally and professionally. But I must agree with Bonnie that if George were to survive, he'd never feasibly be the same: neither a doctor nor a soldier. :( I have a feeling that TR's gone, and that Izzie can, and will, survive and recuperate.
To Linda: There is SOOO much going on in the plot right now. Owen/Christina, poor Bailey and her career vs. family struggle, MerDer, Izzie/Alex, cancer, George, Callie/Arizona, Lexie/Mark It's hard to give much time to anyone with all the story weaving they're doing. I have a feeling (and hope it's correct)that early in Season 6 they'll address more of Derek & Mark healing their friendship, and the two Grey's bonding more in their sisterhood. That needs to happen. and hopefully MerDer will actually get married at some point, lol.

The writers better be careful with this info. I love Izzie and she became my favorite character becasue of the last half of season 5 (the Denny saga in S5 gave me the creeps) But she is getting a lot of the storyline which isn't good for the other characters. S6 should focus less on Izzie (BUT DO NOT MAKE HER NONEXISTENT OR KILL HER OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and focus more on the rest of the charactrers everyone should have a balance of screentime (Espeically George if he returns god the writers did not do him justice this season )S2 and S3 (except Gizzie I did not get that at all) had an excellent deal of balance among medicine and the relationships (romantic and friendships) but yeah from Elevator Love Letter on it was IZZIE IZZIE IZZIE! I think honestly they did that to make up for the Denny saga but still it was not in balance,but it did make me love Izzie more. So writers I want both Izzie and George to return,Izzie to go into remission and get back into being a surgeon and a married woma

the writers should seriously think about what they're doing. patrick dempsey is obviously the leading actor, but since they've laid all their focus on izzie and the show has become stevens's anatomy, he almost doesn't get any screentime at all. that's why he had to drop to supporting actor. it's sad that the writers don't seem to have the best writing skills left these days.

This is to Bonnie... Izzie tried to be with Alex in the beginning, but then he slept with Olivia. Then she met Denny and Alex was all jealous and told Denny that he and Izzie were really serious when they weren't. Then Denny died, he picked her up off the bed and held her. Then he wanted to be with her, but she wasn't ready. Then Ava came along, and then Izzie and George slept together. Then Alex got mad at Izzie. Then Ava left, and then came back and was crazy. Izzie tried to help Alex, but he wouldn't let her. Then he did let her, he cried to her and then he wouldn't talk to her again. Then they made up and have been together ever since. Alex and Izzie were always meant to be together. It has always been about Izzie with him. He wanted to be a better man for her. Now he is and he is by her side. Izzie and George give the show heart! They are awsome characters and I will be very sad if they leave the show!

Grey's and PP stay the same. It's Ugly Betty the one moving for FF.
I'm getting bitter with the idea of Izzie living. TR deserves better, if he was going to get killed off, they should've given him a decent storyline.

I agree with that sentence.
I don't want a depressed, unreconizble George/ Or Izzie for thet matter. I want them, both ALIVE.
I totally see that they will live, or at least Izzie, but that the cancer isn;t gone or comes back again. I loved her season 5 storyline but I dont want her get surgeries every episode-she should be cancer-free.
LET THEM LIVE PLEASE.

Bad news, I was hoping Izzie wouldn't return, she is too annoying. The character who thinks is the best person but actually she never helps her friends because she is always too busy thinking about herself. The character who married the man she has been using as a second plate during 5 seasons, and we are supposed to think it's love.
And then there is George. I wouldn't lik him to die, but with all the injuries he has, he will never be the same. So it would be like having a new character who will spend all season trying to recover... I don't know about you all, but I think it would be to sad to see a hlf burned George, with no arm... maybe it's better if he dies.

Although this whole Izzy dieing deal has been heart wrenching. I think that Miss Heigl should think hard and long about leaving Grey's. I'de not bite the hand that feeds me if I was her. There are 2 more seasons before they will renew contracts or decided that the show is over. You'de think that she would appreciate her job more than she does and keep quiet and work. There are alot of people out of work right now. And she isn't a big name so who will even know her in a few yrs if she leaves this show. Pretty blondes are a dime a dozen.

Whatever. KH is staying, i'm sure of it. I think she was all like i'm gonna leave because I have so much ahead of me, but then she realized that w/o Grey's she isn't THAT great, she decided to stay (good decision). I'm sure TR is leaving. and his future looks promising, but even so, it's a shame. His character is my favorite, and frankly speaking, when George dies, I will cry for like a week.

@McHot, there is not a lot on GA this moment. Mostly is Emmy stuff coming around. Especially now that PD has been submitted as "Supporting".
And no one exactly knows how far along Ellen is. Rumor has it that she's probably along 5, almost 6 months along.
