A lot og us love the Gizzie couple. They still have huge fanbases all over the Net, so not sure what you are talking about. Tons of us hate ALEX and Izzie.
And fans have been complaining all season long about the lack of George. Many George fans haven't eeven watched all season because of it.
Check your facts before saying false things.

i watched the last two episodes today....and im sooooo sad...i dont want anyone of them to die. if T.R Knight leaves the show they can make a farewell party for george before he leaves to the army but dont kill him. and izzie..just cure her dont let her die:(((

shonda said she left george out of the season so we wouldn't notice that that was him in the finale. I believe he'll live (if T.R. wants to stay) and i believe that he'll have a love story with the girl he saved from the bus too.

I was thinking the other day. I think Izzie has a chance to live cause at the end of the 2 hour finally she was flicking her eyes and i think she will have a heart beat and live. so Think she is not going to die ware George is damaged really bad and he wont be a doctor for a very long time. I Like George he is very sweet and kind and the friend ship that Him and Izzie has is great. But i don't want to see him go either but i want to see Izzie live and George so please keep them alive at least Izzie

I don't like the idea of a new George, we would all know it wouldn't be T.R. Knight. If that happens it is just proof that Grey's Anatomy is slowly losing its fans.

And I would love another season of Izzies Anatomy :P but then healthy offcorse...and I want her mother back for at least another episode...they are great together.
WHAT A GREAT SEASON this year. I thought the firts half of the season was kinda boring (at the time. Now looking back, I love the firts half just as much as the second) but I became obsessed with Izzies storyline(yes. No shame here!) after "stairway to heaven"-WOW

I really hope that that does not happen! That would stink. There's only one george and TR can do it. I agree that one will live and another will die. I think izzie might live for some reason.

hope god that Shonda reads this forum ! I know, it's possible to replace George's actor with another, but we all know George , how sweet he can be, even from thousands km away he is our friend, from his character we learned a lot, even replacing him we will love him anyway, but we are all gonna hate the new one, i wish good luck with that but i can't imagine how that will happen, let's be realistic , Sloan is able to do some magic but not to this mutilated face, poor George !

I have another theory. In the interview after the finale, Shonda said that she had deliberately left George out of storylines this season, so the audience would get used to George not being around, all in preparation for the finale, so the fact that George was missing for a lot of the finale would not be noticed by the audience until the big reveal of John Doe/007... What if in addition to doing this, she orchestrated rumours of TR leaving.. to further increase the doubt about whether George would live.

I can honestly say that if they replace TR, I will stop watching. I would just rather have them kill off George, even though I definately don't want that to happen! But it won't even be George if TR isn't playing him. They might as well just bring a new character in. I think they'd lose a lot of viewers if they replace him.

Freddy, Patrick Dempsey never said any such thing. He said he would honor his contract which would take him through the end of season 7(all the actors have 7 season contracyts) and then he would see.

Why everybody wants TR? When they give George a lovestory with Izzie, nobody want them together(because of Alex). When in all season 5 George's airtime was a line in every episode nobody complained. So, now George is a favourite role and we want him to stay and... i don't know. My favourite character is George and when he and Izzie were together i really love that. But because of the fans Alex talks and George walks.
I wish George and Izzie die, so that fans can stay with Alex.

I can't help but to believe that they will return next season. Think about it. Everytime a movie star farts in the wrong direction, we hear about it. It seems to me that Katherine or T.R. would have said something or a friend of a friend would have said something by now. I mean, as soon as I tell a friend about something going on in my life, 10 mins. later my mom calls to see if everything is okay. My guess is there is no news because there is no news.

ever since season 5 aired, the show already lost the fun factor for me... my only reason to still watch the show just because i like izzie and george characters played by catherine heighl and T.R Knight, if one of them leaving, it means i'm done with the show... it's that simple.

I don't know how much this means to anybody, but Shonda Rhimes said on her twitter that that rumor was pretty dumb...I personally don't think she would do that. Too much for her. I think we have learned that Shonda doesn't really do the cliche...so we should (impatiently) wait and see what she has up her sleeve for season 6!!
...P.S.
I don't want Izzie OR George to die.

First of all...I'm from Holland so sorry for my bad English..
So here I go:
Personally, I would be devistated if Izzie dies. I bought season 1 of grey's without ever seeing it, and I fell in love with it. And with Izzie. I loved Izzie from the start, always waiting for her to arrive, and i love all her story lines-even her affair with George. I LOVE HER. Can't explain it, and I'm not going to. You know what I mean.
George is a character i LIKE, but not neccecairely (AWFULL SPELLING I KNOW SORRY)LOVE, but I dont wanna see him go either. Not like this!! They can't do that to us. THEY CAN'T!!
On the other hand, if Izzie lives I want a full recovery.
I love her but if they wanna keep her sick/dying/puking for the whole new season then they should let her die. I want Izzie walking around, enjoying life with possible a good break up with Alex-I don't like him. I don't want de firts half of season six with sick dying Izzie, dragging it to the finnaly.

I love George. Absolutely love him. But, for me, what makes me love him is the way T.R. Knight plays him.
I hate to say this, but I'd rather have no George at all than someone other than T.R. portraying him.

i think its a bit ungrateful of tr to insult the show..but only tr can play george..i have to give rhimes credit when george did the double 0 7 thing on meridiths hand i was so stunned it is the most memomarable moment in my tv watching history
