Now, TV Guide is answering a number of questions fans may have about the CW remake, which will air on Tuesday nights this fall, following 90210. Here are a few important inquiries and answers related to the show:

Will returning character Sydney and Michael maintain a relationship?
"Sydney has most likely always maintained some sort of relationship with Michael," said Laura Leighton. "It's been complicated, and that's not going to change."

Is one of the new apartment complex residents related to an original character?
David (pictured, Shaun Sipos) is Michael's son, one of two Mancini offspring actually, who "may or may not be cast members of the show," Thomas Calabro says. Adds Sipos: "He takes some jaunts outside of the law."

Who is sleeping with whom?
Riley (Jessica Lucas) and Jonah (Michael Rady) are together in the series premiere... but this might not last long.

Ashlee Simpson is in it? Really?!?
Indeed, Mrs. Pete Wentz plays a key role, Violet. Nt much is known about the character, but Simpson describes her as "fresh off the bus" and addes that "the first episode does have a nice jaw-dropper."

Will 90210 characters cross over?
The CW president Dawn Ostroff says the show is still working on how such a crossover would make sense. But sources say Ryan Eggold, who plays 90210's Mr. Matthews might have a cameo in the pilot.
