Grey's Anatomy still has two more weeks to go, but last night, the second season of spinoff Private Practice concluded in dramatic - and somewhat disturbing - fashion.
As Addison nearly consummated her affair with married Noah, Dell got his daughter back, Sam professed his love for Naomi (who did not reciprocate), Charlotte got the axe and Violet - after choosing to be with Pete! - lay immobilized on the floor while a crazy patient readied to cut her open and steal her baby, we were left shocked, drained and wanting more.

How about Violet finding out that Cooper is actually the baby's father and they get back together? The "B" is out of his life now.

Next season probably starts September or October of this fall.
Yes, this finale was ridiculous - the writers opened up every possible story and tied up absolutely NOTHING! It's super frustrating but I can understand why it was done that way (ratings obviously matter) but I thought the scalpel on Violet's stomach was a bit much in the end.
I hate the fact that we saw so little of Addie - but there was a pretty fantastic Paddison scene, so it's alright. The whole 'cheating' thing was conveniently interrupted by Morgan going into labor, so I don't completely hate Addison again, but I hate the fact that Noah is married! Seriously!
My bet is that Cooper will have forgotten something at Violet's and will find her on the ground before things can get too far out of hand with Katie - I seriously doubt Vi would die. No.
The whole Naomi thing - I want her back at Oceanside. But whatever happens, at least she is not leaving the show, thank God.
Glad Dell (hopefully) will get Betsy back. I like Dell when he's not freaked out about his daughter (and not making critical mistakes for the practice).
Overall, great finale leaving fans super curious - yes, writers, you are torturing us! Kate Walsh rocks.

SPOILER ALERT!!
OMG, I am in total shock.I watched this episode, like right now,I'm supposed to be sleeping cause I have to get up early tomorrow, but this was just soo distrubing. I mean, Violet is my favourite, I love her, I was really disappointed when she didnt get back with Pete, and in this episode, they finally did, and it was just super cute, and then the last scene is, Violet with a bloody nose and is about to be cut open. I mean this is just seriously wrong...Im actually scared, I did not pick this show because of the horror context, I picked it cause it was supposed to be a romantic drama series. Not a Bloody-omg-what-is-happening-series... I think this is gonna have a big uproar...

I felt so disturbed by the ending of the show. I kept saying to myself, "Just wait until next Thursday...perhaps some closure." Since I watch it on the Internet, I had NO IDEA it was the season finale!!!! Now I'm really mad - lol! Poor Violet and Poor Pete! Dumb Cooper! ARGGHHHH!!!!

Am I the only one who was disturbed by all the I love you's on yesterday's episode? Noah loves Addison--really? Have they ever even had a conversation that wasn't related to surgery, their potential affair and the repercussions of said affair because his wife is Addison's patient? Then Pete and Violet declare their love for one another. This relationship seemend both rushed and forced and, maybe it's because I'm a Pete and Addy fan, but I don't like these two together at all! Then there's Sam saying he's still in love with Naomi--I really think this was selfish on his part because, to me, it seems like he just got scared that she might be leaving the practice and that she was actually moving on with her life without him. Good for Naomi for not getting sucked back in! Maybe next season we'll get to see her and Dell finish what they started in season 1 cause that was totally hot!

P.S. I don't know why I said "yesterday's episode"...I meant to say Thursday's episode.

i love Sam. i feel so bad for him, because its painfully obvious that he can't live without naomi. I just started the show midseason, so i don't even know why they got divorced. It doesn't seem mutual.
