The CW definitely has a hit on its hands with its small screen adaptation of the popular young adult horror book series, The Vampire Diaries.
No, we didn't say Twilight. Pah-lease. Vampire Diaries was so out before Twilight.

Never read the books but watch the show diligently I like her dark hair can't imagine her a blonde hmmm matter of opinion I guess. Good show!!!

major twlight fan its sooooo much better and even though the movie wasnt as good as the books at leat they got the freakin hair colour right!

Yeah, the blonde thing is pretty messed up. I don't really care for Stefan -- not my type -- but I LOVE the guy they cast for Damon. He is freaking gorgeous.

Um, okay, what about bonnie?
Was she not suppose to have wildy curling red hair ???
And be really small (short)
Plus the plot is completley messed up.. it's almost like a combination of all of L.J smiths books.
It even reminds me slightly of Evermore.
Like whats up with Elena's parents dying?
I thought she had the summer of her life in Paris???
And was the most popular girl / guy crazy person..
I dunno. It's different.
Still good but way different from the book.

I saw the first good awsome the vampire diaries if no one watches this well your missing out I new every part they were going to do because watched it on youtube half man I dont wait until next thursday for the best psart going on to youtube to see if they have it.

VAMPIRE DIARIES look AWESUM we can't wait 4 the TV show 2 come out. We're sooo EXCITED!!!! The guys r hawt especially Stefan they remained me of TWILIGHT charaters!!!! We think they pick HAWT guys 2 play their part!!!!

Movies dont always go by the book but still I mean come on Elena was blond and Stefan and Damon were described to be really hot in the book and these guys are no where near hot but hey what can I say just going to have to wait and see. . . But you could have gotten better actors.

hey, yeah i am a twilight fan , but i never thought about vampire diaries i thought that maybe it was just some rip off from twilight but then i read about & it was out before twilight and its amazing !! ssssssssssssshhhh but i like it , the same as twilight maybe even beettter cant wait for the show

Well, I've read all of the Vampire Diaries books, and Elena has BLONDE hair, so tell the actress to dye her hair blonde or something. But other than that, everything else seems to be okay to ME. (But I do kind of picture Damon and Stefan a little bit cuter). But other than that, I think the cast is PERFECT!!! And I'm REALLY looking forward to the show when it comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D
