Nina Dobrev got the best surprise on the set of her new series, Fam.

While the actress was at a taping for the new CBS comedy series, Dobrev was shocked to the core when she realized her former The Vampire Diaries co-star, Paul Wesley, was at the front of the studio audience.

Dobrev noticed while she was posing alongside the cast of her new series, and immediately made a beeline for Wesley and hugged him.

As her new co-stars are looking over in disbelief, Dobrev realizes that she broke away from the crowd.

"What are you doing here?!" she yells, before making her way back.

It was a beautiful moment, for sure, and one that Nina will not be forgetting any time soon.

"When your Fam comes to see you at FAM," she captioned the video. "#WorldsColliding."

They played love interests on The Vampire Diaries, and starring on the CW drama propelled both actors to stardom, so it makes sense they would remain close to one another after the show wrapped.

Dobrev was a series regular for the show's first six seasons as Elena Gilbert, while Wesley appeared on all eight seasons as Stefan Salvatore.

Despite no longer working together, the pair has remained in contact and recently met up to attend a friend's wedding.

Dobrev's new series, Fam, is slated to debut on CBS at midseason.

"A woman’s dreams of an upstanding life with her new fiancé and his upstanding family are dashed when her younger train-wreck half-sister comes to live with her to escape their train wreck of a father," reads the official logline for the series.
