There was a time when I loved George the charakter. And I loved T.R. Knight for his wonderful kind of playing him. I love George still but I can't forgive T.R. Knight that he left the show this way. It's like he ruined it a bit 'cause he played George, the beloved cute George. A main character. And just because he couldn't play as much as some others T.R. Knight left. I still wish him a great life and a good career but I hope that if he gets another job he will think about why he got it. It's a pity.

could it be possible that izzie will name her baby george...it would be cute and quite symbolic...so that we can at least remember george whenever we see the baby...and i have to add that this george-leaving-thing is horrible...i was just watching season 1 and 2 and i admired how close george and izzie were- after all they were best friends...and it is not fair that they'll have like three episodes of mourning for george and then it'll be like he never existed...and that SUCKS BAD!!!

That's why I think he was miserable at work. He certainly got no support from Shonda and TPTB. They treated him like he was some useless actopr they kept to make GLAAD happy.
My God, the extras got more respect than him.
If the rumors are true and Shonda had it in for him since the IW days, I don't blame him for not wanting to work a second more with her.
And really? Even if he had come back two or three episodes, do you really expect Shonda to have given George the farewell he deserves?
After all, from all reports, she knew for months he wanted to leave.
Did she give him any attention the last few episodes? Barely.
In fact, rewatching the scenes with both Izzie and George dying, George's dying is barely given any attention while Izzie, who got the whole season focused on her, has all the big shots and all the airtime.
George is just shown to shock people in that elevator.
Maybe TR was tired of being taken out of the dustbin every few months and solely used as

I am having a hard time with this I haven't read all the posts but a lot people are blaming shonda that george will be gone like a puff of smoke but I read somewhere that shonda wanted TR to stick around for a few episodes for the start of next season but they couldn't work out an arrangement, its hard to know what goes on behind closed doors but couldn't TR have just come back for a few episodes for the start of the season??? Just for the fans it seemed kind of unfair to everyone - us- the fans that he couldn't do even just one episode maybe he could have lived and then come back sometime in the future for a/some special episode/s maybe shonda was not being fair with what she wanted??? I don't think either one of them thought about us the fans that watch the show. What do you think??? As a goodbye to the fans do you think he could have come back for just one episode to tie the ends up for us, it seems like he couldn't get away from the show quick enough. Good luck to him and I wis

tink it just hit me for the first time TR is really leaving and our George is probably going to die. This makes me so sad. I feel like someone has kicked me in the heart.
I'm so upset that Shonda probably knew he was going, and she couldn't even make the last episode about him.
I'd much rather have had one episode with George hurt and everyone telling him how much they loved him than to have a whole shocker ending.
Especially if that ending was going to be ruined three months before the new season.
You'd think honouring George, a character that we love, would be more important than shocking people for a few minutes, would you?
It makes me wonder if those rumors about her hating him are true. Why else would she give him such a crappy ending?

That sucks. We got no George at all, and now he's dead?
Why does Shonda hate him so much? Couldn't she have written him a big story like Izzie, shown him some respect at least for all the fans who love George?
Do we not count at all?
I'm sure he would have stayed if they had given him a fraction of the airtime Izzie has been getting.

Question is, would Shonda have treated any other cast member that horribly? Do you honestly see her backburnering Katie or Ellen or Eric a whole season without telling them why?
I don't. It shows the lack of respect she had for him as an actor and as a person, and her lack of respect for the George fans.
She didn,t care at all how much we missed him all season. She didn,t care about our feelings at all.
I still believe that if she had told TR she had a big story planned for him in season 6, he would have stayed.
But she never seemeed to get just how much George emant to so many of us.
She used him twice for a cliffhanger.
To her, George was just someone to use for publicity because TR was in the news, a character she could easily sacrifice for the sake of a cliffhanger.
For many of us though, George was the heart and soul of Grey, the character we related to, the underdog we all wanted to succeed.
To this end, she used George to make people talk. Instead of lett

You know what? I'll miss George and Gizzie so much, but I'll also miss George and Alex. I know I must be the one Gizzie fan who like Alex, but I do. I always liked the whole love-hate George and Alex has, and I really loved the friendship they were starting to develop in the end.
I was looking forward to more Justin and TR scenes, my two favorite actors together. I know they're close in real life too.
I'll miss George, Gizzie, the friendship between George and Mer, his relationship with Bailey and his weird relationship with Alex.
I'll miss George. I usually go more for bad boys than good ones, but George won me over from the very first day and right now, I feel like I just lost an extremely beloved friend.

No, The office and 30 rock both went up this year. So not all TV shows went down.
I'm gone from Grey. Obviously Shonda can only write for guys she consider hot. It seems to her hotness is all that matters in a guy, and if you look cute but not hot, you get run over by a bus..literally.
Well I'm not interested in beautiful superficial people I can't relate to.
I have never met any guys like the ones in that show, except for George. He's the one real guy in them all.
