Ok, look. It's 39 seconds of ONE episode. How can you tell that the season is going to be like that?
Plus, how can anyone be sure of the way that George will be mourned? He will be but again, everyone has different reactions to it.
I'm not telling you that you shouldn't be upset but can you give it a chance to see how he'll be remembered? Spoilers have continually said that he was very much liked at SGH, so his death isn't going to just be forgotten.

What Nelson says makes sense. "Good Mourning" is too soon for Izzie to be out of the hospital, so maybe this is from "Goodbye" (when some time has passed), which would explain it all (except for the newlyweds comment, that is).

Love MerDer but hate Alex and Izzie. I loved Gizzie and Dizzie.
I'll miss George soooooooooo much. It sucks they couldn't write for our George and TR quit because of it.
Are they even bringing back George's brothers for his death?

yeah that is almost certainly not EP. but i guess maybe it's just a sound synching error? either way, i think it's probably no big deal.
i did love george with my whole heart, but isn't it better that they're moving on with their lives, rather than wallowing like Meredith or lying on the bathroom floor like Izzie? i realize that their laughter and general merriment and okay-ness seems kinda disrespectful, but we don't know the context in which this scene appears. we don't want our favorite characters to be sad forever, that would provide for extremely boring and depressing television.
to close this ever expanding monologue, i want to remind people that though george's passing is really, really, really upsetting, we have to remember that sometimes, people grow out of their jobs, which is what happened with TR Knight. it's not that he's not a supremely talented actor, because he is, but that it was a choice that he made to do something new with his life. though i'm sad he's not around

George had sex with Callie when his dad died, it was his way of mourning the loss of that very important person for him. So, Mer could be doing the same thing.... It's really in the spirit of Grey's Anatomy.

As I said before, Izzie just got out of the hospital!! I'm sure she is trying to find any reason at all to be happy. I'm sure you'll see how the George thing affects her throughout the season. AND I think them having sex to grieve is true to Grey's Anatomy. I mean, it seems like ALL of them have their own weird ways of dealing with things. I just think that all will be revealed when the show finally airs. Until then...

Three episodes is nothing. It's the least George deserves especially after the horrible way he was treated the last season.
OTH did it for Quentin, who was a much less important character. They mourned him at least 5 episodes) They didn't stop living, but you could see how much they missed him. George was there five years and Quentin half a season, so why did OTH give him a better goodbye? Judging by this clip, they don't seem sad at all.
It's especially jarring where Izzie is concerned. She was his best friend and his person and they were lovers back then.
She was laughing coming in the house before she even saw MerDer doing it.
And seeing people having sex to cope with grief is so very soap opera, and I hate it there too.
I don't know anyone in rl who has sex when they grieve. If I could have detected the least trace of sadness, but nothing.
They seem happy as clams and George isn't even cold in the ground.
Why should I be surprised after the way the show had e

Three episodes to mourn is a little much. I mean they all have lives to lead and tons of stuff going on. Just because they continue to live their lives DOES NOT mean that they have forgotten about George. I'm sure throughout the season George will be mentioned a lot and remembered.

There's a difference between a whole season of mourning and one freaking episode. They mourn one episode, just one? Could they have given them at least 3 episodes to mourn? That is certainly not too much or not the entire season. I don't think one episode of mourning and then everyone acting like nthey are having the best time of their life is ok.
Nobody wants the whole season, but we sure want more than one freaking episode.
I'm sure if Mer died, you would be pretty annoyed if everyone was boinking two episodes after.
I'm pretty sick and tired of people telling the George fans they have no reason to be upset. George was erased all season, then killed off and now this, and we are suppose to not complain at all?

I don't think it means that George means nothing. There is only so much you can mourn. Having Izzie and Mer mourning for an entire season would be too much.
He'll be remembered. He'll be mourned. Everybody deals with loss differently. Remember when Mer put her hand in the bomb and Izzie was laughing because she said she laughs at funerals?
Give it a chance.
Haha, I forgot about Izzie and trailers...that should be interesting. They didn't seem to mad to leave the house.

I think Izzie probably is a bit happy seeing as she just got home from the freakin hospital and I think given the circumstances (finding your room-mates doin the nasty on the stairs) would make anyone laugh and/or smile.
I hate how people jump to conclusions that no one cares that George has died. The whole first episode is about him and we've seen clips already of how hard people are taking it. People need to just chill and wait for the show to air before they start whining about lack of George mourning!!
