The whole bad boy is redeemed by good girl is the biggest cliché in Hollywood and a total insult to women.
Especially when those guys (Alex, Mark) are only good with those women and remain total abusive asses to everyone else around, and sometimes are abusive to the women when they don't fulfill their high expectations (Alex is very abusive of Izzie many times).
Couples like that are the reasons why so many young girls get into abusive relationships thinking they can tame the abusive loser.
It's very disturbing.
Mark comes off as a total sleaze hitting on his slightly slow-minded idiotic little girl.
Lexie looks 10.
George looked more her age because of the baby face but mentally, George was a billion times more mature and he deserved a real woman not a little stupid vindtive girl.
Maybe Mark and Lexie are perfect for each other. They're both stupid, selfish, self-centered and immature, and I can ff them both when they're together.

I disagree. Alex and Izzie were just sexual, and I still don't see any love on Izzie's part, not the way she loved George. I also don't think Alex loves Izzie. He's obsessed with her, which is pretty sick and not sane.
There's nothing sane or romantic about AI. They're pretty sick, and they have zero chemistry.
I think George and Izzie were meant to be together from the beginning, and I think Shonda planned it thatw ay. She even said so, but she let the haters get to her, which is too bad since I think they were the minority but just very vocal.
I have noticed how much better the ratings were with Gizzie together and have heard many Gizzie fans saying they quit Grey when they ended.
Now I wasn't a gexie fan, but anything anything would have been better than Mexie.
At least you know Gexie had chemistry and George could have grown to love her in time.

I LOVE Mark and Lexie together. I think the bitch and the lamb are the perfect couple. George never saw Lexie the way she wanted him to see her and she was always searching for love, while Mark never knew that he could feel something like that for anyone but for Addie(I miss Addie a lot on Grey's btw =( ) But anyway when the two slept with each other, it just had to happen,that they fall in love. And I think it's so cute that you simply see how much Mark loves Lexie. I mean he even went to a dinner with her and her father to make her happy and her smile is even stronger since she is with him. She needs someone who is that male. George always was more a Bambi than a man,which made him extraordinary but also not good for little Lexie. I think George as a single is best,because Alex and Izzie were meant to be with each other from the beginning and Meredith and George were an absolute no go! Chemistry is subjective. I see absolutely no chemistry, except platonic chemistry, between Alex and Izzie. Izzie always acts more like Alex's mother or sister than his wife.
But George and Izzie was just wow! When I watched that flashback of them making love, it was just 20 secodns but I needed a long cold shower after that. Then in the linen closet, the chemistry was explosive.
I'm not sure how anyone can not see the romantic chemistry. I have been seeing it since they joked about having sex in season 2. Izzie looked like she wanted to eat him alive and do him right then and there, and he looked the same way.
And when they flirted in the hall and tried not to kiss, it was just the hottest thing ever.
IMO, no couple has it all like them, the total package: romantic, friendship and sexual chemistry.
They have ruined every couple for me forever. No couple is as good or ever will be.

LOL there was nothing platonic about that hot hot kiss with Gizzie in the elevator. That kiss was the hottest thing ever. Now Izzie is with Alex and they have all the chemistry of an overcooked dim sum. Doughy and boring.
It didn't seem all that platonic either when she told him she had multiple orgasms with him their first time together, something we saw in that flashback. Seeing Izzie orgasm right then and there didn't seem much platonic to me, I don't know, LOL.
Mark was totally avilable emotionalluy with both Callie and Addison, so I don't buy the little girl could somehow make him a better man. She doesn't make him better. She makes him boring, sleazy, cheesy and totally devoid of any professionalism.
Giving privileged treatment to your kid intern just because you're banging her is not cool.
Not excited at all about season 6. The show has been on a downhill spiral since season 3. Gizzie made season 3 bearable but the minute the show ended, I realized they were keeping

I don't mind Mark and Lexie. It does seem a little weird, but I think it was supposed to be. Mark has been available for anyone physically, but not too much emotionally, and for someone he hadn't even considered before to have an effect on him, I think is nice. As for George and Izzie...uh, they didn't seem right. I know, I will get cursed for this, but they DID have chemistry and there definitely WAS love between them. However, I really think that love was platonic. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm excited about Season 6!

I fast-forward every Mexie scene. I really wanted Mallie together. I also found Gexie pretty cute. I think both couples had more chemistry.
I really loved Gizzie, sigh. I can't believe we'll never have scenes again.

I seriously hate Mark and Lexie. I think they are forced and came out of nowhere. She was in love with George the episode before and never paid attention to Mark. I do n't see chemistry and I especially don't see any connection at all. Eric has chemistry with everyone, but none with Chyler at all.
I loved Gizzie. I don't care if he was shorter than her (I didn't know you had to be the same size to fall in love or that shorter guys had to either be alone or settle for short girls) because they had amazing chemistry, an everlasting connection, true understanding, they loved each other inside and out and they made each other so completely happy.
The way they smiled at each other, just sigh.

Granted Callie is NOT gay. The term Shonda and some of her writers seems to be running away from is bisexual or sexually fluid. This translates to Callie being attracted to the PERSON and not their gender. Callie as gay seems forced because the character was introduced into the show strictly a love interest for George. There was never any doubt about her sexuality or anyone questioning it. But should have Shonda introduced that doubt, that would have led to people believing that Callie maybe bisexual. And I will repeatedly keep using bisexual.
Callie told Erica that she may never just only see leaves as she also sees the whole forest. She also told Mark that as much as she enjoyed sex with Erica she also enjoyed sex with him. Whoever wrote those two scenes was alluding to Callie being sexually fluid. Love in her book DOESN’T recognise gender but the ability to find someone who she can fall in love with, their personality, their being. The gay and lesbian community has issues with

I like Mark and Lexie but it's like Melody said, to each it's own. I didn't really like Gizzie (don't kill me, please) because I had the impression she was taller and I sort of have a problem with couples in which the woman is taller the man...:P

ummm...Marah--I kind of like Mark/Lexie! I know people who don't but to each his own i guess! Something about them i dunno... i don't have any probs with the couples right now...except Callie and Arizona. Lesbian callie just feels forced to me. Like oh yeah we are a show that supports gay people see one of our main characters is suddenly gay. just doesn't feel like callie to me yet. and what happened to Joe and Walter? did they adopt those babies or not?

God what is up with those critics pimping this couple? Most people I know hate them and they are so far from cute, it's not funny. George and Lexie were cute (I'm a Gizzie fan, but I can admit they were cute). Mark and Lexie are just barf inducing.
