Three Sneak Previews: "Tainted Obligation"
Below are some sneak previews from this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Tainted Obligation." In the first, Alex receives a wake up call from a bear (and we're not talking about Cristina's Mr. Bear toy here). He then decides he wants to move back to Mer's.
Izzie's not up for that, though, because she just can't move backwards ...
Follow the jump for two more clips from the episode, in which Izzie treats a patient suffering from cancer and waiting for the right moment to propose to his girlfriend of eight years.
Also, Mer and Lexie's father, Thatcher, arrives at SGH in terrible shape ...

If AlIZ both earn $30k doesn't mean they earn $60k between them? Joint income? Some how I doubt their rent is that much.

Residents make barely more than CNAs. I work with surgeons and one day got to comparing paychecks with our 3rd year resident. I make .25 an hour more than him- but he works more hours. After about 100 hours, their pay is cut in half, goes from about 10.00 an hour to 5.00 an hour.
Yeah, they do only make 30,000 a year. And that doesn't include hidden costs, school, equipment, textbooks, and insurance. Every doctor must be insured and thats about 1,000 a month, and thats just so that if they get sued they are somewhat protected.

They make 30,000 a year each? After taxes I hope! Still, it seems like a small amount for doctors!

I am so glad that GA haven't forgotten their GSOH. Although it is a shame we won't have any more fab MAGIC 5 interactions anymore.
The promos have been saying that Mer is the only one that can save Thatch, and that's cos she's got the AB blood type that he has.
I kinda hope that Mer gets her father's liver in a jar as a keepsake, cos Chyler has kinda given something away in saying Mer does something for Lex.

I agree with Javi, everyone is seeing only one side of Meredith, but for a moment, try to take the role of Lexie, being with your father, wanted to see if yours would have the same arguments, that if well, God help me and help humanity.

umm...I know that is hard to get why Lexie is the way she is, but come on, is not her fault and he's still her father. It's obvious that Lexie just want him to live, no matter if he was a bad father to Mer, 'cause he wasn't bad to her.

Did you see the look on Mer's face when she saw Thatcher/Lexie. She is SOOo over them. Mer needs a break from thatcher and Lex.
She is not the only surgeon in the hospital that can operate on him. I don't know why everytime thatcher comes to the hospital they page Mer. Let someone else treat him!!!
And Lexie, She is such a pain in the ... right now. She is just to stupid and , I just don't know what to say about her right now. It's like she lives in some sort of dream world. She clearly does not see or care that Mer does not want anything to do with thatcher.
I wish Der would talk with her. Mark is no help, he is just as juvenile as Lexie.
