Gossip Girl Forum: "The Grandfather: Part II"
Chuck and Blair may have gotten back on track last week on Gossip Girl, but she and Serena had yet another falling out. The battle lines are clearly drawn.
How will that play out at an election party for Nate's cousin Tripp? What will Nate's family do to get Tripp elected? What does Olivia say that she regrets?
We'll find out all that and more tonight in "The Grandfather: Part II," a play on last season's "The Grandfather," itself a play on The Godfather movies.
We've seen some previews and promos, browsed through a photo gallery and read plenty of spoilers. All that's left for us to do is watch and discuss!

In response to V's "What happened to the Nate I knew?"
He got involved with politics. Seriously, that "scandal" is nothing compared to real life political scandals. There was one here in Jersey not too long ago involving 40 politicians, 11 rabbis, and $60,000 in a box of Apple Jacks.
But I like this Nate. We need more of this Nate.

OMG!!!!!! loved it.. still not the GG im familiar with but i like it in a different way now. and the ending was kind of sad and alot of foreshadowing... really liked nate this episode. dan and olivia are cute but dont care. PLEASE GIVE US MORE CHUCK AND BLAIR!!!!! and serena and blair drama is always fun.
AND NEXT WEEK"S EPISODE SOUNDS AWESOME!!!!! i wanna know more bout the 3some!!!! the suspense is gonna kill me. haha

OMG just finished wwatching GG, im lovin te Tripp Serena scene endin the ep, i totalyy want somethin to come out form it itll replace my need for Cater-Serena.
oooooooohhh next week its the THREESOME :O!!!!!!!!!!!!! n was the song playin durin the promo 3 by britney spears?? :P cuz thats kinda funny

Being in Canada, I see the episode earlier. Not going to spoil anything, but I can definitely agree with "t".
The episode was amazingly fantastic.
The S/B drama was well done, and yes, Team Blair will be happy. Serena definitely has some thinking to do. Blair laid everything out on the table.
Nate was excellent, the political stuff was interesting.
And Chair had some cute moments!
As for Dan and Olivia, mehh. Not too fond of it.

Fantastic episode. I loved it so much.
The B/S drama was pretty great, especially for those on Team Blair, in my opinion. Even if the ending was surprisingly heartbreaking, overall it was terrific.
As well, I loved Nate in this episode. And Chuck, of course. C/B moments are far too few, but amazing all the same.
I also really ship Dan/Olivia now. Which is surprising.
