Gossip Girl has never shied away from bad puns in its episode titles, and next Monday's "The Debarted" is no exception. If you hadn't guessed, it's the one-year anniversary of Bart Bass' untimely death ... or is it? See what you make of this promotional photo:

Bart Bass (Robert John Burke) is totally back, but word is that he remains dead. This is a dream, or a spirit of some kind visiting Chuck. Yes, we're serious.

One can only hope the show pulls this stunt off, otherwise it's kind of cheap and cheesy. The past two episodes have been terrific, though, so we shall see.

In other news, an accident apparently lands Serena in a hospital bed. What will become of Nate, Serena and Tripp after last week's dramatic confrontations?
