AMERICAN IDOL 2010: THE BEST OF THE TOP TEN GUYS
As soon as Ryan Seacrest announced that Crystal Bowersox was ill and that the guys were performing first, I got this sinking feeling that it wasn’t going to turn out real good. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like this season’s males, it’s just that there doesn’t seem to be a strong contingent of young men who have got their act together.
I think Simon said it all when he did a little pep talk about getting the “killer instinct” going if they really mean to win American Idol. I agree with Simon. All but a few of the guys believe enough in their own individuality and creativity to go all the way for the gold. Simon’s sprinting analogy was very apropos.
Tonight, I would definitely put big Michael Lynch up front. He was strong, he was believable and really put the boot to James Brown’s It’s a Man’s World. I thought he was really cool and firmly launched himself toward winning. That’s the k
