Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: MerDer Secrets
With all the focus on Cristina, Owen and Teddy (new cast member Kim Raver), what's the status on Grey's Anatomy's "signature" couple? We've been hearing so little!
While we would never forget about MerDer, Ellen Pompeo's recent maternity leave and plenty of other drama have put them on the back burner a bit. So what's next?
TV Guide has an interesting teaser in its spoiler Q&A segment today:
Q: Should I be worried about Mer and Der on Grey's Anatomy?
A: Rule No. 1 of marriage (Post It or otherwise): Never let slip something your spouse told you in confidence. Derek will learn that lesson the hard way when he blabs one of Meredith's secrets around the hospital. While Derek will definitely be in the doghouse, the secret's impact will be much more wide-ranging at Seattle Grace-Mercy West.

I think he is going to tell everyone something that Is not that big of a deal but meredeth is going to get all dark and twisty about it again... She makes me upset with all her emotional issues... I love her but That part of her upsets me... She needs a little bit of Yang in her..Yang is the best.

It would be too indiscret for Der to gossip about the chief's alcoholism, and it would harm the chief and SGMWH too much for that to be the secret.
Mer had an unhappy childhood,she was a a rebel during her teens, and partied hard before her mother's altzhiemer diagnosis. But how could that really reflect in SGMWH?
MAybe Der could possibly discuss Ellis?
But I hope we see Der in the doghouse. I hope we see a lot of grovelling from Der, cos it sounds as though he'll really be overstepping the mark (probably to Cris's delight.
I hope we get to see when MerDer fianally make up too. Cos Mer isn't a wife who'll want flowers, chocolates, candy or jewelry as an apology. So how will Der get in Mer's good graces again? This time I think it'll have to be his kidney in a jar! LOL

Mer is so protective of her mom, even though their relationship was difficult. Mer worked it out about her mom's affair. Der got told by the chief.But Callie, Bailey,Cris and Mark are aware of the affair. If the hospital staff also know it could come back on the chief's reputation. The intro to GA we'ver recently seen says Mer idolises the chief now
With the chief mentoring Mer there must be some gossip as to why he's singling Mer out. THe staffers have seen Mer challenging the chief's authority numerous times. But the staffers must have seen the easing of that part of their relationship recently. Mer's first solo op overseen by the chief was hilarious, and it must be obvious they now have a strong bond.
But where is Der going to divulge Mer's secret and to whom? It's got to be during an operation surely with lots of staffers listening in. Maybe he's chatting away to Lexie about her sister?

Mayb mer confesses to derek that her mother had another child(avery) this would therefore affect the rest of the doctors..
Its a bit far fetched but its greys we talking abt.

To be honest I don't think it will be about the chief drinking. It's proberly something to do with Ellis. But thats my opinion.

Is not the Chief's Drinking because Derek finds out on 611 about it and confronts the Chief in 612. So it has to be something else maybe the fact that Ellis tried to killed herself. Guessing here.

I just read the press release for 6.12 Der does find out about the chief drinking. Iz wants a reconcilation with Alex, and Cris makes a confession in 6.11 that causes tension between Owtina and Teddy. Does Cris talk about Burke?
