Leighton Meester to Guest Star on Vampire Diaries?
... and Nina Dobrev on Gossip Girl?
If you're a fan of these CW stars, you'll love the fact that Bob Levy, executive producer of both Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries, wants the girls - who are real-life BFFs - to guest star on each other's shows in the future.
"I love the idea!" Levy recently said of having Nina guest star on Gossip Girl, and vice versa, with Leighton turning up on The Vampire Diaries.
"We're gonna work on that. You have my word."
The girls are up for it, too.
Leighton and Nina became friends while shooting the upcoming film The Roommate, and Dobrev would jump at the chance to visit the UES.
"Oh my god, I would love to be on Gossip Girl," she said. "It's hard because we're busy, but I would love to, and for her to be on our show."
"Leighton would make a great vampire, I think!"
We can see it - and we'd love to see Nina return the favor and play a new love interest for ... well, someone. We're open to suggestions!

I'm really bmuemd that this isn't playing anywhere in Detroit. I'm trying to find a way to go see it when I'm in Salt Lake City later this month. I saw a preview for it that looked really good.

I've always thought that ian looks like chace and ian could be on GG as like Nates cousin or related to him. does anyone else see the resemblance???

if nina came on she WOULDNT BE A VAMPIRE! they rnt gna put vampires on the upper east side, they r gna make new characters for them so they fit into the story. its not gna be a cross-over episode where they play their own characters that they play on the other show!

I'm so glad he came up with this idea, I love it since I seriously am a f* huge fan of both shows. Both Leighton and Nina are awesome actresses I can't wait to see them acting on each others shows.

Even though I'm a fan pf both I don't want Nina to be in GG and Leighto in VD. I just can't put these shows together. They are too different. And if Leighton appears in VD I'd think of her as Blair and vice versa with Nina.
