Chair4ever

it's not the writers fault that this happened, it's all the fans fault because everyone was complaining that chair was boring now so this is what you get...

That would be the most ridiculous step for the show to take. Irrepairable would be a good description of GG.
However I'd be willing to bet that the break up will not last. CHAIR are endgame.
If they permanently break up chair and permanently stick Nate with Jenny then GG is off my viewing list also but I doubt the show is THAT stupid.

Oh, No, please do not mess with Chuck and blair!! that's the cool couple of GG!!!

@M: Thank you! ^_^ I'm so flattered. And are you a Nate/Jenny fan and Derena fan too? Because though I think Serena and Nate should get their chance (it would be weird to split them now), I'm ultimately pulling for Derena. I too loved Dan as Lonelyboy- and Serena as trying to fit him into her world! Plus Nate and Jenny had awesome chemistry. Besides, the plot line you suggested- Jenny sleeping with Nate -would actually make sense. Since she's trying so hard to be queen, why wouldn't she try to fit in with her friends by sleeping with the most eligible young man on the UES (heck, she only walked down the steps with him in the Cotillion episode, and all the other "queens" wanted to "pay their respects")? Mmhmm, and Georgie should come back. I originally wasn't a fan of her, but I like the element of pure evil she brings to the show. :P And she was best back when she was a total bitch (I don't know about you, but her whole Jesus kick scared the heck out of me. So out of character!); she kept all the characters on their toes. It's interesting...what if Georgie were Gossip Girl? She seems to know an awful lot about their deep dark secrets! (I know in book canon that's impossible, as she didn't appear much, but in the tv series, who knows?) Also, the way they sent her off with the "prince?" Georgie's definitely going to be bitchy when she comes back, which is one of the (few) things I'm looking forward to. (on a side note, why would she go out with Dan anyway? If she was originally Serena's wild child other best friend, I think Dan would be too nice guy for her) and YES. CYRUS AND ELEANOR NEED TO RETURN. They're hilarious! And I don't mind seeing Rufus and Lily, but I want Eleanor and Cyrus back. Their attempts at Hannukah and Thanksgiving were both cute and provided for settings for huge drama between the other characters. Jenny needs to go back to her designer roots. I understand throwing out her sewing machine during a rough patch, but she honestly had a huge promising career back in season 2. Why would you give that up, especially now that you have the funds (courtesy of Lily) to do it? That would put her so far ahead of the other queens. How much more power and exclusivity can you get than people wanting to wear YOUR clothes? I just see it as a natural jump for Jenny. Now that she's in a position to both develop and exploit her abilities, I'd love to see her balance that with queendom- and I wouldn't mind seeing a few rebellions either! As for Chuck...he's definitely the most complex character on the show. Major props to Ed for his handling of Chuck's falling in love for the first time (which was an amazing plotline, you're right). It was an awesome character development for him. Even though I don't mind Chuck's growing up in this season, I don't think Chuck's past sexual history should have totally disappeared. Do I think there should be other women? No. Do I think he should be spending a lot of *ahem* time with Blair (a la the epic limo scene of season 1)? Yes. They don't need "games," but they shouldn't be about as exciting as a pair of 50 year olds either. If Chuck's a budding businessman, and the new king of Bass Industries comes home tired and cranky at the end of the day, what's he going to do? Spend some quality time with the queen, of course! Blair should have a much more royal persona. She's been in a position of privilege all her life, and she should have matured with Chuck, not turned into this whiny brat. The Blair we know and love would not have let VANESSA or the Tisch people to push her around at NYU. She would have given them hell, then gotten a spectacular victory proving her worth. She doesn't even necessarily have to be mean- but she should still be the determined and fiery character we all like! Yes, Serena needs to do SOMETHING. Something other than random men. I vote she get a job as a model. Eleanor said she was good enough for it in Season 1, and even picked her over Blair. If she becomes a model, it provides a glamorous, UES backdrop for the Serena-Nate-Jenny triangle we were talking about. And we all have been asking for more UES. Anyway, thank you for your comment. ^_^ I appreciate that you like my ideas! Now let's just hope the writers pay attention to our comments!

And who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell ... You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl

[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you.
