He has a new gig, but that won't stop Scott Bakula from returning to Chuck.

The Men of A Certain Age star will reprise his role as Chuck's father, Steve, on the NBC hit. Bakula will appear on multiple episode of the spy comedy, which premieres its third season this week.

Steve was last seen in the season two finale, ditching daughter Ellie’s wedding reception for parts unknown.

Says Chuck producer Josh Schwartz, regarding Bakula’s comeback arc: “[It's] the biggest thing we’ve ever done on the show.”

That's mighty high praise. Consider us intrigued.
