i can't beleive that Elena was adopted! i mean, she must have had a reletionship the Katherine but it was never specified in the books and adoption never passed my mind. But anyways...i reckon the episode was pretty good. It cleared up a few things like the identity of Alaric Saltzman. I already knew he was a vampire hunter but they did a good job of showing he wasn't a vampire to others. Such as his ring off when in the sun (i'm guessing it's full of vervain or something) and showing his wife being killed by a vampire (who turns out to be Damon). I also like that they showed some of Stefan and Bonnie's Grandmothers past. Showing that they knew each other, yada yada yada. anyways, great episode. can't wait to see what Alaric's gonna do to Damon (hopefully he won't hurt him too bad). WWOOOOOOOOOOO!!! GO VAMPIRE DIARIES!!
