Brit Morgan has landed the final new, major role on season three of True Blood.

The little-known actress - who has appeared on episodes of Greek, Cold Case and The Middleman - has nabbed the pivotal role of Debbie Pelt, the crazy ex-girlfriend of werewolf Alcide (Joe Manganiello).

Last month, True Blood producer Alan Ball said the role was being beefed up.

“[Debbie is] going to be in more episodes,” he said, “so maybe that will have an impact on [what actress] we can get for her, which is a big question right now.”
